    @Serena1642 @VodafoneUK BT Mobile only charge for MMS outside of our allowance. Perhaps Vodafone class emojis as MMS? Change provider but keep your number after checking your local signal coverage

    @HarveyFirestone @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK When our mum died virgin media were the same , spoke with bereavement team , but said I couldn't cancel or change payment details without a password , I mentioned seance as well . A lot of other companies fantastic . Water company was the best .

    @DaveLGilmore @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had very similar with virgin, bounced around from person to person on one call, getting nowhere. Then when when you call back “yes I can see from previous calls” very stressful. Their product was good, their customer services beyond rubbish. Still got calls after cancelling

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had similar problems last year, but managed to resolve it without escalation. Clearly they are more desperate to rip off more customers now.

    @VodafoneUK @debrakidd You would infer that it was not you utmost aim to resolve this matter sensitively. How else, do you think, George felt the need to put his experience on Twitter. It is because of the service received up until that point was diametrically opposed to this assertion above.

    @VodafoneUK @speckyninja My daughter returned home to the States so I cancelled her Vodafone account. Never had the ‘final bill’ they insisted had been sent to me (that I never received) - just straight to a debt collection agency and threatening letters! .

    @NeilCotton @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Never, ever, ever take a mobile contract. SIM-free phone plus PAYG or 1-month rolling contract (eg GiffGaff "goodybags") has been cheaper option for literally years now.
