@max_tappenden @zeninternet @VodafoneUK Yeah, we basically don't have that issue now. Verizon tried putting Netflix over a barrel, as did Comcast, but there's enough competition now that routing is reasonable and uptime issues are limited to last-mile infra issues 99.9% of the time.

@VodafoneUK you’re ****. My partner called your service team to ensure she had international roaming before driving to Austria from the UK. Of course it’s not working and now she has 1,000 miles to travel with a disabled child and no way of contacting emergency services if needs

@iansltx In the UK there’s a lot of difference between buying gigabit FTTH via a quality ISP like @zeninternet vs a vile one like @VodafoneUK in terms of speed, latency and uptime, not to mention customer service. Losing that choice would be devastating.

@PaulCowland_ @VodafoneUK I'am with Vodafone on pre-pay contract, the 4g and 5g signal is so poor I've had to buy a second EE sim and cheapy phone to use as a wifi hotspot..can't wait for my Voda contract to end!🤬
