Anyone got a semi reasonable reply from @VodafoneUK about their broadband outage? Can't believe a large company like VF has put nothing about a major fault on their website or social media. Esp at the moment when people are working from home.

@VodafoneUK My Vodafone app not working properly. Can see basic usage etc but no access to my account. Asks me to log in, then PIN (twice) then “we’re having a few technical difficulties blah blah...” Been like that for more than 48hrs. Have deleted app, reinstalled etc

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I'm sorry for your loss! They're the exact same in IRL. Thankfully, I was just changing service, took months! Lost my number, then get debt collection on to me for hundreds of €!! I had screenshots and recordings of confirmed cancellation so the agency dropped everything.

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja My fathers got dementia and can’t remember anything about his contract, passwords etc. Basically paying for a phone he can’t even use. It’s a nightmare trying to get help..

@VodafoneUK shame on you.Many others on this thread seem to be having similar problems. Fact we’ve rang up multiple times and tried to sort it and we get nowhere;even worse we were told to ignore the debt emails that it was a spam or fraud and now we’re in mess what’s not our own

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK the lesson here is don't bother having contracts, the monthly pay as you deals are just as good if not better nowadays and you can dump them and move on if there's any hassle. The whole contract system benefits them not the customer.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This doesn’t compare to your awful situation but I left Vodaphone in 2005 when I received a bill for 700 pound (a lot to me at the time) for data despite having a data cap set. I was told on the phone no data cap had been set (despite previous reassurance). No option to challenge

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This organisation has been like this for years - when my Dad died suddenly they said we had to pay extra to cancel the account because we hadn’t given them the required notice! Morally bankrupt tax avoiding shambles!

@GeorgeMonbiot Had personal contract with @VodafoneUK . Took another two contacts for kids, set up payment from diff account. They took all 3 payments from both accounts for months. Sent round in circles. Left me crying with Frustration. Never again!
