@VodafoneUK I think you need to contact @herdwick_gal who is still with you and in need of help with a problem rather than me - I’ve left Vodafone after over 15 years and gone to @ThreeUK

Currently on a @DemonSupport ADSL contract and have heard nothing about this. @VodafoneUK seem to have cut off my broadband without warning and not told their tech support who say hundreds of users having same problem...

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Sorry for your loss, George. Shockingly bad customer service is common in the UK telecoms and energy sectors, our government appears to put corporations before people.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Yes - very aged parents-in-law were charged about £10 per month for 5 years for service they were unable to cancel. (That’s 600 quid for nothing) Eventually stopped paying. Then hounded via debt collectors for another £30 something. Eventually we paid to get rid of the problem.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You are appalling at customer service. You agreed a refund for a bill for my husband after many many months of him trying - and then guess what? The next month you helped yourselves to the exact amount you had agreed to refund. #notovodafoneuk #crapservice

@dchughes62 @VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Worked for me when I had a (fairly minor, admittedly) problem with PayPal. Someone got in touch within 20 minutes and the issue was sorted within half an hour. And I don't have many followers.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK surely you should have an ' account holder deceased' button on every account/record that your admin staff access and action quickly and easily without insensitive questions to bereaved relatives ? YOU NEED TO FIX THIS QUICKLY !

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja Hi all. The reason all companies ask you to respond via DM is to “hide the conversation” while they loop you into the same standard support you were already in. They are just saving face, not “reaching out”.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It’s amazing how all these companies who ignore any appeal for help suddenly want you to DM them when the complaint is in the public domain. They do it just so no one else can see the inhumane treatment they dish out. Keep the thread going , let’s all hear the stories.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone used to be at respectable end of the spectrum However in the last 10 years, they've gone downhill rapidly. Even business customers paying them £££ get abysmal service. My favourite is the Voda phone line that tells you to use chat, and the chat that tells you to phone.
