Recurring @AOL password problem; keeps telling me “incorrect password” again; had same problem a month ago. When I input password it is accepted for a short while then same message appears again; infuriating! HELP!!!

@Miss_Snuffy Self pity finds many friends online from the earliest days of community forums up to today's toxic social media. "Share your support" we used to say at AOL and people did and lots was valuable, but a deep streak of 'alternative truth' bedded down there too to solicit attention.

Still having intermittent trouble sending/receiving emails on my @AOL account. Updated password on AOL via Safari; it works. Does not work through my normal email channel either sending or receiving. Systems don’t seem to share info - help!

@aolmail A family member has received the most appalling customer service from #aol. Utterly shocking. All she wants to do is reset the password as she’s been locked out & the response was effectively, go away and set up another account. She has replied, but I’m not happy.

@liampowersjr @NorthmanTrader @Tesla Fully agree by the way, Tesla is strange, but I think some of this isn't just cars but their battery technology....never understood it myself. Never understood AOL time Warner, even wrote a paper on it for my MBA and got the lowest mark out of all my papers.

@BBCWorld Facebook is just a consolidated, personalized AOL chat room but no one came for us back when we were singing to the dial up sounds. The TOS auto-flag system for keywords sucks *** tho. I'm on a 30 day for violence bc I was discussing dispatch and culling methods in a farm group.

@ChristinaTasty As someone who frequented AOL chat rooms and message boards back in the day... it wasn't THAT much better. There used to be an AOL video game site called Antagonist, Inc., and the N64/PS1 console war on there was really, really bad.

@4uckYuu @QOrigins @travis_view As someone who was extremely online from 1995 onwards, the mix of naively accepting versus skeptical has not really changed. The summer that never ended, when Aol linked to the internet, was a blizzard of people. There was a concept of ‘digital native’ that hasn’t surfaced.

@jenmcpt @RadioFreeTom They're all terrible. AOL recently did some sort of revamp and wiped out every saved mail folder. I had recipes, online charity receipts, mail strings with bankers, tax accountants, friends who have since died...all gone now. Bastards.
