So irritating when you pay for a service and don't get it. I was told by a rep ref. AOL: "it's a very old platform.." as if that was an excuse. @AOL

If it doesn't work, they shouldn't take my money. @TalkTalk is a useless outfit too. I was called for months by fake Indian call centres after their data hack. My home internet sucks. @AOL @Ofcom

With MSN Explorer (yes that was a thing in 2001, competing with AOL) we enabled "toast notifications" and the name was because "the little thing popped like the toast on the screensavers." Real toast never does that. It sits there. It sometimes Burns.

Tonjia (@tonjiamallory) reported@Prolotario1 Back in the day, we paid for email. AOL was 9.99 a month. I decided to switch to free Yahoo. Called AOL to cancel. They offered me 3 free months. I said ok, then cancelled. They then sent me a paper bill for the 3 months.

The rest will give their kids a used phone that's already setup for an adult This has to be the single most stupid thing I've seen in online child safety since the start of my tech career in 1996 when I started at AOL.
