@robertoblake I went to college pre internet. We had large computers with floppy disks, DOS command prompt, loud, vibrating dot matrix printers and slow screechy modems. This was before Windows and IE. Before email. Before AOL. Before NETZERO. Before Yahoo Messenger.

  • AdamLovesFood Adam Levine (@AdamLovesFood) reported from Chantilly, Virginia

5 Jobs I’ve had: 1. Intern / Mascot @ABC Kidzine on @AOL 2. Catering Staff at countless DC Caterers 3. Founder / Owner of JAM Productions and the Exchange VIPs 4. Sales/Service at @CustomInk 5. All things SEO @Appian

  • LessThanLiz Less Than Liz (@LessThanLiz) reported from Ashburn Village, Virginia

@jrhuddles @verge Every time a boomer asks if I want my online history held against me, they are likely talking about stupid things I probably said, but I think back to my Geocities FF7 fansite (lots of copyright infringement, I'm sure) and being accused of god-moding in an AOL Marvel Sim chat.

Is it wrong that I'm actively hoping this Warner Bros Discovery merger flops harder than the AOL Time Warner merger and bankrupts those piece of **** executives?

  • Elvenmonk Joshua 绿色 AKA Packed Knightley (@Elvenmonk) reported

@GamerGateFan @K1LLallpedos I'm not going to fight them on this. They can't claim to be for **** posting but not know one of the most iconic AOL chatroom shitposts. People don't even use the asl format anymore

  • gymladnorth TC (@gymladnorth) reported

@AOLSupportHelp - Morning I keep getting message ”there was a problem while saving the message. Please try again later (EP-4030)” - when sending or saving drafts. Both on laptop and on mobile. please can you advise?

  • zardoz88_muet zardoz_m000t (@zardoz88_muet) reported

@Deacon_FL1NT it's like being back on Geocities or AOL when i see that ****.

  • BublesSunny sunny bubles (@BublesSunny) reported

Equally unusual is the way the NSA extracts what it wants, according to the document: “Collection directly from the servers of these U.S. Service Providers: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple.”

  • holesinhappy daniel jones (@holesinhappy) reported

@TheUnproPro It's changed drastically since I was in the game. I was on windows 98 hacking AOL for user names and passwords on a 56k dial up modem. I really didn't know what I was doing. I was poor and learning to develop levels in duke3d. I got caught too. Now I understand.

  • DrawingButts Saucy Doodles (@DrawingButts) reported

@AmericanHussy My brother thought it'd be funny to go through my dad's AOL inbox and there was a video forwarded to him of a man wrapping his *** in seran wrap and taking a liquid ****. Thank goodness video quality was what it was in 2002.

  • Catsorange1 Dog guy (@Catsorange1) reported

@IzaBooboo Well, I had to dig through a rabbit hole of muted accounts. No surprise with any of them. I'll never get over how our Crim Pro professor swore how brilliant Larry was. I don't blame him as that was before social media. Hell, AOL was still mailing disks at the time.

  • callum_codes Callum McIntyre (@callum_codes) reported

I've never had an @aol.com email and definitely don't own either of those emails. I'm guessing the owners of them have set up something on the aol side to forward emails to my gmail, maybe?

  • Elvenmonk Joshua 绿色 AKA Packed Knightley (@Elvenmonk) reported

The people who run poast are so much younger than me that i used an aol chat room troll and they banned me for thinking I'm 16. Lol. How do you call yourself **** posters?
