Dermot O Callaghan (@Omodon) reported from Quintrell Downs, England@bt_uk We’ve had a problem with our phone line (very quiet & crackles) and low broadband strength since we moved to @bt_uk in December 2019, the engineers have been out several times but it’s never been fixed, promised high speed fibre but can’t phone a mate up the road. Poor service.

Paying £10 for a 24 hour tracked special delivery that was meant to be here yesterday and still hasn’t turned up, and the tracking information hasn’t been updated since Monday. Jim Spence (@JimSpenceDundee) reportedOver the last few three weeks I did what I thought was the decent thing and allowed workers from @WeAreOpenreach @bt_uk and their contractors, to access my property to check two poles, which were NOT on my property, but in neighbouring properties where access was awkward, but not impossible. This below was the resulting damage from a wire attached to my house to a pole outwith my house, as they worked on it. I’m now expected to fill in a lengthy explanatory form and seek private estimates to repair it, before returning the form to their lawyers. This costs me time and effort for a problem not of my making.
