No internet means no heat, limited burglar alarm (people in my neighbourhood are trying doors) etc. I’ve managed to cobble together something with a 4G giffgaff dongle

I spent hours on the phone with them, the reset password email never arrived. When they sent me a temporary one time password it didn't work. Etc.

This was a new connection which my mum will now be cancelling due to extremely poor service. The power wires were still wrapped with cable ties creating a huge fire hazard.
