Kay Shepherd (@kaystone1) reported from St. Ives, England@btbusinesscare after 3 months of lockdown BT cut off my line and broadband just as I reopened my shop. Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Justine Clement (@JustClembo) reported@bt_uk They’ve spent hours and hours doing that and even your team say it’s a complete mess and a shambles. It’s a disgrace, being the worst, most stressful aspect of moving house. How can you be proud of that as a business and service?
-
Keith Small (@keithdsmall) reported@uniteandserve @bt_uk @Ofcom Just get Starlink, and reduce your blood pressure. I know it’s frustrating to have to go to a foreign provider to get decent internet, but it’s been the best internet service I’ve ever had. Recommend the rental service. It’s zero risk. Just cancel if it doesn’t work for you.
-
mungo's mouthpiece (@MungoMouthpiece) reported@bt_uk Never mind my 'feelings', what about the threats & illegality? 'Reaching out' to a team that can only parrot the official narrative won't help. It's the ones at the top that need to have their dictatorial mentality reined in. I reiterate; it's ILLEGAL!
-
Jim up the saints 💪 (@Jim5511blue) reported@bt_uk Just so its out there, when cancelled today I was told if I rejoin BT at a later date I would be put to the back of queue, how absolutely typical of company who gave me start date then could not supply their service even after a month and four days !! Excellent customer care!!!!
-
Wendy Holden (@wendholden) reportedThree days without phones or the internet after a tree fell and not one word to anyone in our Suffolk village from @bt_uk. The tree was removed today but no one came to fix the line so another day in the dark. Shame on you.
-
Norman Wilson (@nwwilson) reported@bt_uk Service is an absolute joke. AGAIN my Internet doesn't freaking work. Absolute dog ****. I am paying for this crap. 4 days for an engineer. NOT acceptable
-
TobyBailey - will follow back (@bailey_toby) reported@Steve__Paxton When I call my bank @firstdirect a person answers the phone. A person that wants to help me. They have a very swift verification process. And my calls usually take a maximum of 1-2 minutes. Love it. But then there are times I have to call @bt_uk …. Or Thames water. FML!!!
-
boomshanka🏴 (@boomshanka2u) reported@bt_uk @bt_uk shocking customer service by you, my elderly in-laws should have had new fibre installed on 24th July. Still waiting!!!!!
-
Tom Tolkien (@tomtolkien) reported@bt_uk Your "digital voice" switchover system keeps making orders by itself and then cancelling them by itself. I've phoned you twice, but your "support" is rude and uninterested and just tries to upsell products I don't want and trick me into agreeing to an 18-month contract that I don't want. I'm out of contract, so if BT places any more unsolicited orders, sends any more threatening emails or sends me any more unsolicited items, I will be One Touch Switching to another provider. Zero tolerance. No DMs. Sort it in 24 hours, or you lose this customer.

Sue Alexander (@EphemeralArc) reported@bt_uk Last Wednesday, my elderly mother and I phoned BT about the new digital landline service. Everything was arranged for the 28th August. Today, we received a letter from BT saying 'Sorry you're leaving' and a letter from EE who seem to assume we're changing to them. WTF?
