  • Colm1984 Colm Gordon (@Colm1984) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk I've just turned once of your engineers away as they've arrived 45 miles from where they should be. They should be attending my parents fault 45 miles away. I've never reported a fault on my line........Cheeky Elf

  • sevenofdays Corey Davis (@sevenofdays) reported from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk Hi Rita, I was quoted that this could over a week for the planner to arrive but no time frame given for it be fixed. Issue was originally raised on the 11th November and then incorrectly closed on BT side, still no ETA for resolution and having to use mobile data for a connection

  • sevenofdays Corey Davis (@sevenofdays) reported from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk Hi Paddy, engineer has advised that the planner needs to come out and assess whether trees (at another property) need cut down or the pole needs relocated, been told this could take a week+. My partner works from home and no offer of more data or a mini hub has been made!

  • McGuinnessKevin Kevin McGuinness 💭 (@McGuinnessKevin) reported from Whiteabbey, Northern Ireland

@BTCare As they are due to shut down anyhow soon so looking for a new vocation of scamming BT customers! Very funny they know the name on the phone bill.. a phone line that’s ex directory and on the TPS. The number is kept private! I think you need to investigate your call centre

  • AriffK_88 Ariff (@AriffK_88) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk having issues with home broadband. Keeps going off around 2pm nearly every day. Have a feeling there's a problem with when your DLM reboots my line or there's probably REIN affecting it. I don't know if there's an outage in BT3 area, but your service status says issues

  • StripeyMiata Jonathan McCormack (@StripeyMiata) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@A1GOY @bt_uk I remember looking at a bill as a favour for elderly neighbours, they where paying £81 a month for stuff they never used as they were in their 70's. Got it down to £29 a month.

  • mattgarciablitz Matias Garcia-Constantino (@mattgarciablitz) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk Hi Aidan, the engineer that was supposed to arrive between 8am and 1pm, didn’t. I had to call @bt_uk and they told me the appointment had been canceled. They were able to fix the problem and I’ll have compensation from the two missed visits and for not having Internet last month.

  • No1Ghirl DefCon5 (@No1Ghirl) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk Took a day off work yesterday for engineer to connect my broadband. No show. When I phoned customer services to complain I was told there was an issue and someone would call to update me today. Just got a text to say I won't hear anything until tomorrow. Not good enough.

  • PhilPatterson2 Phil Patterson (@PhilPatterson2) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

To make matters worse I’ve just received a call intended from @bt_uk for “Mr Ray Moreland” commiserating with me on my divorce and credit problems, but asking me for £86. Consistent lies and incompetence, now a GDPR breach. P.S Sorry to hear Ray 👍

  • georgeinbelfast georgeinbelfast (@georgeinbelfast) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

  • stevenburns89 Steven Burns (@stevenburns89) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

I don’t mind @btsport but ever since it’s inception, their inability to find a co-commentator for football has been awful. From Owen to Jenas and McManaman in between, they have never had a @GNev2 or @Carra23 to call upon #TOTMCI

  • Deebhoy Damien Maguire (@Deebhoy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Without question the biggest game on #SkySports and #btsport on Boxing Day is #Aberdeen V #Celtic. Can't help but feel a tad disappointed with the other live games that day.

  • MrADJ Andrew Jones (@MrADJ) reported from Greenisland, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk @BTCare fed up of having to go through multiple advisors regarding my Home Move complaint. Nothing seems to be getting done to resolve the issue! #BT #CloseToPullingThePlug 😡

  • JimWils23951049 Jim Wilson (@JimWils23951049) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@btsport please would you stop letting @martinkeown5 commentate on Manchester United as he is awful.

  • AriffK_88 Ariff (@AriffK_88) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@BTCare I already did and the guy said exactly the same things as everyone on this tweet chain. I asked for a fault to be raised and was told that upload speed isn't guaranteed and he found no issues with my downstream speed because it's above my minimum guaranteed speed.

  • AriffK_88 Ariff (@AriffK_88) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@BTCare So, regardless of whether it's guaranteed or not, should you not be doing all you can to try and identify and resolve the issues, as per the T&C? Which btw don't say anything about upload not being guaranteed. Unless you can show me where it says so?

  • janzokris Janet Harrison (@janzokris) reported from Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland

@BTCare Has there been any ongoing issues with service in my area the last few weeks as our connection drops off an restarts itself quite frequent, if I were to ring every time I'd never be of phone to you.

  • loughlin_kevin Kev (@loughlin_kevin) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@BTCare All fine. Been like this for ages. Bt channel doesn't work. Then you try and stream the match using bt Wi-Fi and it buffers.

@BTCare fed up with service stopping intermediate over last few weeks now router went off at 00.01 and is still off, rang help desk theyr working on fixing problem, and you are now putting price up!!! rip off!!!

Really disappointing customer service by @btsport to just drop Ligue 1 coverage with no warning.

  • GeorgeCowan Britishgamerni (@GeorgeCowan) reported from Newtownards, Northern Ireland

@BTCare Honestly I don't know all I know was it was escalated to the management or executive team who never called back which is why it had to be cancelled because they couldn't provide service & I thought my details would be deleted after account closure under GDPR?

  • belfastroadster Jonny MI6JJZ (@belfastroadster) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@BTCare My parents have lost their broadband. Are there any BT network issues in the Bangor, Northern Ireland (BT19) area?

  • alicemylne Alice (@alicemylne) reported

    - If I switch to @BT_uk (who own the line and only promise 5-11mbps btw which is much more realistic for my area) I'll be charged a cancellation fee by @TalkTalk and no way to receive compensation for: time on the phone, hassle caused, insufficient service and days off work taken

  • robinlewitt Robin Lewitt (@robinlewitt) reported

@bt_uk hard to believe you actually want me as a customer! After convincing me to switch to your broadband, I’ve been misled 3 times, not contacted when promised and without internet for 3 weeks (at least). Shocking service.

  • iamcharlotte_ Charlotte Holroyd (@iamcharlotte_) reported

Broadband is down and we’re still in contract. It was on yesterday but at midnight turned off. Thanks, @bt_uk! Still paying for this service. Not good enough.
