James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk hi there. Have recently renewed my contract with you. Why is my bt sport package still being charged at the out of contract price of £29.99? Its supposed to come down to £16
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk hey there. Have spoken before to yourselves about my poor upload speeds and you say you cant do anything. But from speaking to an ex engineer of yours, I have been told thats totally false and that a few easy things that you can do. Very disappointed. Tut tut.

The Wobbly Gamer 👁️🎮 (@TheWobblyGamer) reported from Mildenhall, England@bt_uk Don't worry about it I've solved the problem myslef, and I've been told I can't change the account name even though I've paid for it for 6 years, I don't live with my sister who originally organised it and I always change my package without any issue but hey ho!!!
-
Stephen Woolston (@Woollers) reported from Bury St. Edmunds, England@bt_uk Yes. Been going on 2 years. It'll backup a few files, say its done, but stop and those files are not found in the backup. To fix, uninstall, reinstall, set up. But it'll break again within days. It's not just me. Check the forums. Loads of people complaining.
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Doesnt help in the slightest.
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Ethernet. It's happened on multiple occasions. Look. As long as I can use without buffering and quality drops to streaming etc I'm a very content customer. When buffering happens in 2019 there is something amiss. 5mb is crazy slow for "super fast fiber" ;)
-
Stephen Woolston (@Woollers) reported from Bury St. Edmunds, England@bt_uk You know, I hate to be so critical when you yourself are trying to be kind. It's just I've had such a bad experience of being a BT customer in the last year. I'll DM you details.
-
Paul (@paulhayward200) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk What a bunch of crooks BT are. Sneaking in a above inflation increase . Luckily I do not use BT but My mother does. I will make sure that she leaves as soon as her contract is up. BT= POOR SERVICE, POOR VALUE.
-
DANYE WEST (@dangmcguinness) reported from Mildenhall, EnglandI wish @btsport would stop moaning about the quality of football and just commentate on it. Let me make my own mind up on how good the game is rather that you telling me that it’s shit by 3 different commentators.. all I’ve heard since the 15th minute. #UCLFinal2019 #UCLfinal
-
Stephen Woolston (@Woollers) reported from Bury St. Edmunds, England@bt_uk Keep getting told next version fixes it. It never does.
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk No full drops but speed was pitiful last night. So much so that my entertainment was stuttering and buffering. So either your test equipment is faulty or lying to you. If I hadnt had a problem I wouldn't be having this conversation!!
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Also. If my contract renewed 2019. That is this year. Not 2014 like first stated. Really seems that bt cant get there numbers correct. As you can see I've been a loyal customer for many many years. Seems like honouring sales pitches doesnt come easy for you guys. Lol
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Only issue is that the new xbox console streaming requires a minimum of 4.8mbs upload speed. I cannot use the service with the speed a currently have. Is very annoying. My internet is going to start hindering my tech going forward.
-
Michael Crowther (@231064mc) reported from Combs, England@oinking @btsport It's bad enough to try and cancel my holiday in June Dave, I can't get through ... BUT I got a email stating the final £250 is due Wednesday and payment will be automatically deducted from my account 👍🏻😜
-
Tyler Thurston (@Cameraman_Tye) reported from Dalham, England@virginmedia your customer service via whatsapp is laughable, fill in all the information to then get called the wrong name? Can safely say the router, service and customer help was better with @bt_uk
-
Lau (@LauKParker) reported from Thetford, England@bt_uk No idea how you can justify more price increases right now. Having seen my most recent bill you've lost us as customers. I'll find better service for lower cost. Ridiculous to hike the prices when so many of us are struggling financially. Been a customer since 2006 ...
-
Paul (@paulhayward200) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk Welcome to the worst broadband provider in the country . BT WE LIKE TO RIP OUR CUSTOMERS OFF .
-
Stephen Woolston (@Woollers) reported from Bury St. Edmunds, England@bt_uk I just stopped phoning for help because the help is worthless, just like the product.
-
Chloe Hipwood (@clowee) reported from Haverhill, EnglandFancy doing anything about shockingly slow broadband speeds in some rural Tier 4 areas? Video chat for elderly residents in these areas during Christmas should be a given not a luck. @bt_uk @virginmedia @SkyUK . #loneliness #tier4 #christmascancelled
-
James bartlett (@Darkestfrost) reported from Haverhill, England@bt_uk In fact. I'm sure your adverts state that its GUARANTEED never to happen!!
BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jim Spence (@JimSpenceDundee) reportedOver the last few three weeks I did what I thought was the decent thing and allowed workers from @WeAreOpenreach @bt_uk and their contractors, to access my property to check two poles, which were NOT on my property, but in neighbouring properties where access was awkward, but not impossible. This below was the resulting damage from a wire attached to my house to a pole outwith my house, as they worked on it. I’m now expected to fill in a lengthy explanatory form and seek private estimates to repair it, before returning the form to their lawyers. This costs me time and effort for a problem not of my making.
-
Sem Essessi (@SemiEssessi) reported@bt_uk your CEO is a ******. he should be checking that customer service works at least once a week himself personally to stay on top of it. its easily fixed. he needs firing asap. gross negligence and probably misconduct for leading it here
-
(((Ian McKenzie))) 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇫🇷🇺🇦🇮🇱🇬🇪🇬🇱 (@iMcKenzied) reportedHuge disappointment with @bt_uk today. I had a Post Office phone line in 1978 which became BT in 1982. I’ve never considered switching away. I moved last year with about 6 weeks interregnum. I’m moving again and am told I have to pay £73 early termination! So I’m done with BT, me
-
Warren Peters (@wizza_wozza) reported@bt_uk Why can’t you @bt_uk send an engineer out to sort it out? Surely if you’re getting multiple requests over a period of days about a particular account at least you can do is investigate or take in interest on whether the issue has been fixed?
-
🏴🫡 🇬🇧 (@glasgoRFC1872) reported@bt_uk can’t access my account either by app or website. Called customer services 5/6 times still not working .
-
andy grey (@andy_gray) reported@bt_uk I can’t resolve ‘online’ a phone fault. It’s for my blind 87 year old father who hasn’t got a mobile phone, internet or indeed at the moment a functioning land line. His phone is not the issue. How do I moved forward and actually speak to someone?
-
gusto beats (@gusto_beats) reportedFFS 😡😡😡😡 I’m 6 foot 6 FOOT away from my disc thing and sitting in my garden and my #btwifi is dropping out on my phone!!!! @virginmedia PLEASE put your internet down my road. @bt_uk you suck
-
Carol Lord (@CarolLo58903853) reported@bt_uk is there a broadband issue in some areas this pm? The call delay suggests yes. I can't stand at the top of the garden for 90mins to wait for a call back from you and 'WiFi calling' indoors obviously isn't working. Very frustrating 😕
-
GG (@G1NG3R_N1NJA_13) reported@bt_uk your health check isn’t working. Your stupid robot tells me my speeds are fine. I’m playing ps5 on a wired connection with an upload varying between 15-20 and it should be 100. There is clearly an issue and I cannot do a thing about it.
-
heebee (@KHC99d) reported@bt_uk @Xkay26x Our mother has been waiting weeks and let down on numerous occasions. Told to escalate. Escalating doesn’t make a difference. Same with our work contract - nobody cares and they re not to be trusted anymore. Since EE took over they’re appalling
