My wife's 6 month old @oppo phone got wet in the rain it stopped working when she plugged in the charger. You are very clearly trying to funnel any contact that may result in a loss of finance to EE, towards your call centre where people who suffer with anxiety can be bullied and pressured into products/services they don't want.
