EE Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
David Physick (@Fizzinnf) reportedWhen is @EE going to sort out its signal in #Woodbridge so it is possible to use the car parking app? Decent signal in #Felixstowe. An annoying first world problem.
-
Jackson Eagleson (@Oradaman) reported@EE you're giving me hassle and a problematic contract revision, IT SHOULDNT be difficult. You keep asking for equipment return yet I haven't received new equipment. Now you say there is direct debit problems yet a DD was already in place. THINK WE ARE HEADING TO CANCELLATION.
-
Andrew Robinson (@apr9999) reported@EE Please see this thread. I've had another 40 minutes on the phone with 150 and, again, no help at all!
-
Kate (@kitkat_wba) reportedActually impossible to speak to @EE. An hour and 15 min wait is a joke. Won't even let me sign in online because the account was set up wrong. Guess just stick with broadband that keeps dropping out. May be best to switch.
-
Andrew Robinson (@apr9999) reported@EE I did call again and the woman said she'd send him a message to call me. That was over 3 hours ago. This was all about retaining me as a customer. Henry had an idea that he was going to check out and come back to me.
-
Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!
-
Chris Rosser (@chris_rosser) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE All Internet in UK is moving away from copper to the premises - and all the replacements require power to function - if you get a UPS you can plug your router and other devices (such as a phone interface) into it to keep them running during a power outage.
-
ร๐รก๐ชแปฬ๐รญ (@TheDealEnvoy) reported๐จ Scam alert. Be careful out there. Hackers are getting really sophisticated. Just had an unsolicited call from 01438 989236 claiming to be @EE customer service. Sounded professional. Said they had a promotion that would bring my monthly bill down. Asked for my last name, then said Iโd get a code from @EE and should read it out to โverifyโ I was the account holder. Checked the number that called and the number that sent the text. Instantly knew it was a scam. Called @EE myself on the official number and reported it. Never give anyone a code sent to your phone. Hang up and call the company directly.
-
Andy (Honk Honk) Robertson (@AndyRob04327914) reported@EE where my ******* broadband that I pay a small fortune for? Nearly up to 32 hours of outage now.
-
cliff cook (@cliffc100) reported@TheDealEnvoy @EE This applys to anyone from any company or organisation that sends you a one time passcode the genuine company will never ask for this code anyone doing is a scammer trying to access your account
