A robatvtwxrws back a few minutes later to say it had done some tests, found that there was indeed a problem, and said a human would call shortly. 1/3

This issue has been going on for well over a year. Every staff member here avoids EE for this reason. Its clearly a coverage issue rather than a device specific one.

My wife's 6 month old @oppo phone got wet in the rain it stopped working when she plugged in the charger.
