Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Brettenham and nearby locations:
-
Ben Lord (@benlorduk) reported from Ixworth, EnglandSo @EE failed to put a spending cap on one of my business lines in October - over £430 of spend that this should have prevented and they’ve offered me £30 compensation for service failure! All the years I’ve been a customer and they offer no loyalty whatsoever 1/2
-
Mark Ward (@mark_is_caching) reported from Sproughton, England@EE morning. I get BT Sport through you - app and big screen - if I cancel does it run through to when the next payment was due or is it 'cut off' immediately - thanks in advance
-
Mark Ward (@mark_is_caching) reported from Sproughton, England@EE Ahhh. It wasn't very clear to me - is that a rolling contract - i.e. cancel anytime
-
Ben Lord (@benlorduk) reported from Ixworth, EnglandAlongside this @EE fails to grasp they have mis-sold the spending gap by failing to tell me what it did/didn’t include. In recognition of over 10 years loyalty to them, they’ve dismissed my complaint and referred to the ombudsman! Shocking display of customer service! 2/2
-
Martin Richards (@Marjar13) reported from Sudbury, England@EE so now over a week waiting for an engineer to call to install fttp and 2 days waiting with promised visits not happening. Disappointed long term customer.

-
Surtsey (@SurtseyAna) reported@EE Call you - on a phone that's not working? Use the app - on a phone that's not working? Or go to your website on a PC, so the website can send an authentication text - to phone that's not working? Did anybody think this through?
-
David Robinson (@PonsAeliusKid) reported@EE internet is broken and the earliest you can get out to me for a *known hardware issue* is next Thursday? I WFH, everything relies on internet now. What are you going to do about this?
-
Tony Crystal (@TonyCrystals) reported@chocoranges @EE Keep a record of everything, make a formal complaint. Ask for compensation. If they are not reasonable go to comms Ombudsman. I would say £25ph for inconvenience plus null payments during dispute is reasonable. Every email cost 1 hour. Phone calls by the minute rounding up. hth

JoJo (@yoyo__jojo) reported@EE we are away on holiday, I can’t log into my account as you have not amended my new number when I called to change all this in February. I can’t call as we have no signal and we need a helping hand as we are on holiday and our family is going to run out of data
-
Andrew Harbot-Taylor (@T_Northernbloke) reported@Farmeronecow @O2 That's why I left. Well that and when I complained about the signal I got told I needed to buy land and get planning permission myself and then they would look at putting one up. Moved back to @EE and normal service resumes.
-
K8 (@k8_louth) reported@EE Finally got through to talk to someone to be cut off again! Really not impressed and cements my need to cancel service!
-
Polemic Paine (@PolemicTMM) reportedThis is exactly the sort of corporate one sided arrogance that needs levelling up. @EE We sent you something. Too see it you have to log on and follow our system instructions designed to make our lives easier not yours. Same to see why we've raised your charges. Oh, and if you have any questions relating to this don't bother asking because we blank your enquiries. Fk em. Solution in link in tweet below.
