@RachelSJohnson @EE but they also have a live chat for help on their website.

  • TrophieTy Tyler (@TrophieTy) reported

Going to start looking into long term new way to stay connected and stream again. @ee have taken a MONTH to not resolve the issue in my area and i'm not just going to wait anymore.

  • MikeHolden42 Mike Holden (@MikeHolden42) reported from Burnley, England

@jenlion @EE I've had exactly this with insurance, mortgages, all sorts. They rely on customer inertia to retain them. When I move I always make their customer retention team (they'll definitely call you if you're leaving) know I'm moving specifically because of these tactics.

  • G__a__b__e__ Gabe (@G__a__b__e__) reported

Does anyone know how to get through to @EE? I want to give them money so I can have a phone, but there's no easy way to get through to them unless you're already a customer (must have an account to live chat etc). And because of lockdown I can't even go into a shop.

  • FoxMagenta Magenta Fox (@FoxMagenta) reported

@jenlion @EE Little known fact... ALL telco IS more concerned with obtaining new customers as opposed to retaining. Telco WANT you to leave (and then comeback) as it keeps the market growing... its stupid but its true.

  • bhussain1983 Bukhtiar Hussain (@bhussain1983) reported

@EE Hi, i recently upgraded my contacts but I still haven’t received my trade in pack & just received a text this morning saying I will be charged £385. For a company who claims to be the best in uk I can’t even get through to the customer service team

  • StokesBakes Kimberley (@StokesBakes) reported

@EE She can receive texts, the issue is that she has no idea how to use the phone (we tried teaching her and gave her written instructions when be visited before the new restrictions). She had an iPhone before but that SIM stopped working (from a different network) so she changed to-

  • StokesBakes Kimberley (@StokesBakes) reported

@EE Unfortunately the Doro is a sim free phone so she doesn't actually have a SIM in the first place (even though she is on a SIM only contract) but thank you for trying to help Peter

  • guscat50 Gus (@guscat50) reported

@annedwards01 @jenlion @EE On the contrary they are winning more than they lose. Sorry your experience hasn't been great bur they constantly come top of customer service surveys

  • StokesBakes Kimberley (@StokesBakes) reported

@EE Hi Peter, I know that these aren't your rules but I do find it alarming that your only solution to provide a SIM card to an existing customer is to have them go into store. As mentioned previously, she is severely vulnerable. I find it somewhat despicable that there are no other-
