@Stephen_Neal Good shout! If we just take the Freeview/Freesat ones, we get to ten, excluding the National ones: 1) BBC One 2) BBC Two 3) BBC Four 4) CBBC 5) CBeebies 6) BBC News 7) BBC Parliament 8) Dave 9) Drama 10) Yesterday But they aren’t licence fee funded, so don’t help the argument.

@PayneB44 @tomhfh @BBC Your point was you want a break from it. There’s 1000s of channels, Freeview, YouTube, Sky, NOWTV, Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, BRITBOX DVDs, Blu-rays. Boxsets. There’s never been so much content to take your mind off it. Or just turn the telly off.

Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@virginmedia once again trying to contact virgin media is a no go a proper waste of time contract has run out trying to cancel they have put the money up to £60 a month for basically 2 freeview boxes I have cancelled my direct debit which is due on the 7 april what a scam😡

The Belmont transmitter, which serves much of the region including Hull and surrounding areas, had planned engineering works during the week starting October 27, 2025. @FreeviewAdvice Since Sunday I've not been able to get these channels - 1,2,9,12,25,27,34,39,51,56. In this day and age I find it totally unacceptable that its still possible to get a bad signal for 1 day, never mind 3 days +. I can't afford cable or satellite tv, freeview is all I've got

@msapsfordmusic What I don’t like is that you record a movie that’s on regular tv then you go to watch it a few days later & it sky store only plus there’s loads of Freeview that’s on sky q but not on glass. We’ve only had problems with the remote tbh I know others have had glitches on screen

@FreeviewAdvice none of the booked recordings are working on my recorder. And there are issues with freeview data ie next Thurs schedule is missing and when dr martin is on it says it is the royal?

Live sport is just about keeping Foxtel afloat, although you do have to wonder what would happen if the FTA networks finally decided to work together and build a "Freeview Sports" service which could potentially offset costs for some of those ever-increasing sports rights deals!

the b b c have a bloody nerve putting up the t v licence next year to 180 pounds, all they do ,is repeats and more repeats and freeview is absolute crap ,the b b c pay themselves too much, i could read the news for a lot less the 450,000 a year.,its time to stop the hyke up.
