If we just take the Freeview/Freesat ones, we get to ten, excluding the National ones: 1) BBC One 2) BBC Two 3) BBC Four 4) CBBC 5) CBeebies 6) BBC News 7) BBC Parliament 8) Dave 9) Drama 10) Yesterday But they aren’t licence fee funded, so don’t help the argument.

There’s 1000s of channels, Freeview, YouTube, Sky, NOWTV, Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, BRITBOX DVDs, Blu-rays. Boxsets. There’s never been so much content to take your mind off it. Or just turn the telly off.

Plus upgrading regional studios to HD (cameras, edit, play out). Massive expense for 28 mins at 6:30 and 3 x 6 min bulletins. That, or quality content?

Sky do more for £45pm, You can do better

Kids ditch cbbc the second they have cartoon network, Disney and nickelodeon. Adults do the same too for other things. They like the choice.
