    @Stephen_Neal Good shout! If we just take the Freeview/Freesat ones, we get to ten, excluding the National ones: 1) BBC One 2) BBC Two 3) BBC Four 4) CBBC 5) CBeebies 6) BBC News 7) BBC Parliament 8) Dave 9) Drama 10) Yesterday But they aren’t licence fee funded, so don’t help the argument.

    @leksi_p Correct. If you do not have Freeview, Sky or Virgin (or any other cable service), you should not need to pay if you never watch it.

    Question for arts people. We don’t use Freeview as our signal is much more reliable using Apple TV through our internet connection. Is there a way I can get @SkyArts via Apple TV?

    @virginmedia once again trying to contact virgin media is a no go a proper waste of time contract has run out trying to cancel they have put the money up to £60 a month for basically 2 freeview boxes I have cancelled my direct debit which is due on the 7 april what a scam😡

    @DrRacheal @FreeviewTV When I had problems with Freeview, I found their helpline - when I eventually managed to get through to someone - very helpful. Took me step-by-step through the stuff I could check and solved it for me.

    @jonnyt78 Not at all. Was supposed to be awful except from some certain sections of the media. Some of the games were of freeview over here as well, I didn’t have a clue

    @bt_uk Thanks for the help. I spoke to freeview, tried a few things which didn't work but i contacted your TV help and after doing a few basic things somehow it appears to be working now! Very Strange. Tks

    @FreeviewAdvice I’ve been experiencing a lot of poor quality imaging/interruptions of my freeview in my area, Chingford, London. Also I’ve been able to DM you and I’m not sure why the system is not enabling it. It doesn’t bring up your company when I try

    @PayneB44 @tomhfh @BBC Your point was you want a break from it. There’s 1000s of channels, Freeview, YouTube, Sky, NOWTV, Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, BRITBOX DVDs, Blu-rays. Boxsets. There’s never been so much content to take your mind off it. Or just turn the telly off.

    Also, NXT UK will air on a weeks delay on the Paramount Network, which puts them on Freeview.

    @tinytwink The poor shouldn't have anything they have to work for. Big screen TV - nope. Netflix - what's wrong with Freeview? Mobile phone - can't they walk to the phone box on the corner that was disconnected five years ago. They think if you're poor you should suffer or not be poor.

    @skytv @TalkTV Why is the picture and sound glitchy on TalkTv. The picture quality is great but it's just not playing correctly. Note... Rest of my channels are fine even CNN which in bad weather disappears 1st. Also freeview is working fine... Thank you.

    @JohnNicholRAF @netflix I Should really cancel it, can’t remember last time I watched anything on it!. Ditched sky 3 years ago, don’t miss it. Freeview box with recording capability just fine. Have to say Britbox is pretty good

    @badmissk @366DaiChallenge I bought a telly for my pensioner sister. I went into Currys and said "doesn't have broadband, not interested in streaming or 'smart', just wants the Freeview channels". You literally can't buy such a thing. I walked out with a JVC with 90% of its functionality she'd never use.

    Masterclass in customer service from @virginmedia 34 mins on the phone with Customer Services to downgrade part our package, ended up cancelling the lot. Oh hum back to Freeview and ADSL with a 5g backup.

    @Bridgetpee You'll have Freeview tuner in a post 2016 tv. Plug in the satellite or terrestrial aerial and scan channels. Sometimes the Freeview settings need tweaking. Hit me up if you have problems

    @Bridgetpee It will depend on your tv. Your tv might have Freeview installed. Find or download the tv manual for help. You might need to plug the aerial cable straight into the back of the tv and then tune the channels. Smart TVs are different again. Sing out if you need more help
