@Phil_Nourse @colinshone2 And the people said I’ll watch freeview and then said, well that wasn’t so bad and decided to cancel their virgin bloody broadband and moved to Sky on a better deal than £80 per month and now pay £49. That’s what we did 😁

@NickBuckleyMBE @DefundBBC Totally agree. I've been saying this for years. Unlike other people who suggest turning it into a subscription service, I say just force them to show commercials instead like all the other channels on Freeview.

@dramachannel The trouble is the general bit rate and 540x544 resolution are so poor on Freeview that even the adverts and trailers frequently look like they are being played from a badly worn VHS tape, add archive material to that and it becomes a blocky detail free mess.
