  Watching Ideal World on Freeview ch 51. Peter Simon still flogging stuff you never knew you needed. Exercise freak is advertising a vibrating machine and he has varicose veins. Much preferred Simon on Bid TV where he was allowed to go bonkers. He looks fitter now tho, relatively.

  @BENEFITS_NEWS It also eats up a lot of your broadband. No problem if you're on an unlimited package, but for people on cheaper, restricted usage packages, that will cost. Freely is good where reception is poor, but Freeview is still needed.

  @BBCFOUR4 Showing what I assume is a repeat but I've not seen it. 7pm Freeview 9 #Squirrelonmyshoulder an orphaned grey. I'm guessing before the draconian rules came into place. When people were allowed to help the injured, old or orphaned regardless of criteria.

  @LGUKCare Hi. You need to address why the FreeSat guide on your TV's takes up to 30sec to load and populate. Doesn't happen on Freeview which I have upstairs. Your (all too frequent) updates could fix this easily but you dont. 10K of TV RAM mem could sort this annoying nonsense.

No **** Sherlock, why should we phone in when you can’t be bothered to put us on the RADIO - just in case you don’t understand, Freeview is not available to most people who are not at home!   @sparry951 @diablik_uk @BENEFITS_NEWS It'll be a slow creep; for many years now some channels on the Freeview EPG have in fact been streamed. Freeview recorders are still readily available for those that want them; if you're using Sky/Virgin etc. you're already NOT using the Freeview service that is 'under threat'.

  @aconda_ann I am quite old fashioned as well. I did get a bargain smallish 'internet / smart' TV but no use when freezes or internet cuts off (been happening for years, with no fix). It's on a terrible indoor aerial, so I can't get most Freeview on that one but my fave usual telly: Freeview.

  @darrengrimes Nothing decided yet so I’ll wait until it actually happens before deciding to cancel my subscriptions or not. Tv companies are losing customers right left and centre due to the constant inflation plus 3.9%. I’m seriously looking at just getting a freeview box and a “fire stick “
