Nix at Home (@NighyNikki) reported from Worthing, England@Phil_Nourse @colinshone2 And the people said I’ll watch freeview and then said, well that wasn’t so bad and decided to cancel their virgin bloody broadband and moved to Sky on a better deal than £80 per month and now pay £49. That’s what we did 😁

Nigel Keeling (@Traighbon08) reported@reformparty_uk Most working classes have a dodgy stick and pay about £100 for every channel known to man. They couldn't give a **** about Freeview. You clearly know your voters.

FreeScot 🏴 💜🤍💚 (@roorooyes4) reportedUnsurprisingly, so many things have not been considered with the whole "shutting off terrestrial" tv thing. For instance, companies like BT/EE do NOT broadcast the Freeview channels on their online service in rural Scotland. These come in on the aeriel, the rest through your ...

Independent England.. Engdependence! (@EnglishUDI) reported@jollyman56 @lindamccorr I was an international swimmer many many years back and I have a great interest in the games, particularly the swimming. The games should be shown on Freeview. But I go back to my original comment If Scottish people could speak the Gaelic that would solve the problem. for you

BENEFITS NEWS (@BENEFITS_NEWS) reported@aconda_ann I am quite old fashioned as well. I did get a bargain smallish 'internet / smart' TV but no use when freezes or internet cuts off (been happening for years, with no fix). It's on a terrible indoor aerial, so I can't get most Freeview on that one but my fave usual telly: Freeview.
-
Blake (@BlakeAntcliff) reported@SheLovesTweets @theipaper Freely TV's are the same as Freeview and Freesat, the problem is Internet only doesn't take into account people who live in blackspots and barely get anything much better than old school dial up. Nor does it account for anyone who doesn't want/have broadband.

©️Mischief & Mayhem! Hannah’s fur family 🥰 (@FurFamilyCats) reported@HelenFish249972 I don’t even think I pay for mine. I had Freeview for years, then Sky had a good deal as a new customer, I went to cancel this year as I’d had it two years and they basically kept it at the same price again. It was actually a few quid lower. I only pay £20 odd the internet, and

Popeye (@PopeyeFreeview) reportedIs Freeview Channel 52 Great! Romance gone 24 hours? was sharing with Great! Romance Mix. Is there anyone stupid enough to check if the channel is broadcasting 24 hours please.
-
Tom H (@TomHLon) reported@fin_lay24 @OldRoberts953 Nice article, Finlay! Incidentally, I can't help thinking there was more choice and variety when it was just "four boring old channels" than when freeview came along and it became all UK That's Great Drama Yesterday +1.
-
Trish Macfarlane 🏴🏴 (@TrishMacf) reported@DarranPearce @DJL78 Instead the BBC flood the screens with antiques, quizzes, property programmes and we don't have a choice as to whether to pay the licence fee or not! Call me old-fashioned, but TV was much better years ago and most of the Freeview channels are sheer crap!

The Wilder Way - Patrick Wymark Boardroom (@Wyfan2) reportedSo the advantage of Freely is that unlike Freeview, when my internet goes down I also lose my TV. Technology continues to improve our lives.
