Freeview Issues Reports Near Slough, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Slough and nearby locations:

  • Putneyman Dave M (@Putneyman) reported from London, England

Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

  • themib Martin Bentley, AKA Martin Bentley (@themib) reported from London, England

Also, NXT UK will air on a weeks delay on the Paramount Network, which puts them on Freeview.

  • ProfJohnEllis John Ellis (@ProfJohnEllis) reported from Egham, England

@MariaMichalis @All4 C4 is in talks to join Britbox... and you get surveillance on any streaming service, even ad funded. That’s how they can target the ads and tell you where your nearest car dealership is (new in All4). Only Freeview lets you keep anonymity

  • danblythewriter Daniel Blythe (@danblythewriter) reported

My @TalkingPicsTV signal on Freeview is scrambled worse than one of Alain's messages to London tonight... looks like we'll be watching #SecretArmy on TPTV Encore after the event this week!

  • SteveHyett Steve Hyett (@SteveHyett) reported

I see @SkyUK have put their prices up yet again...I'm only on basic package but I'd be paying nearly £40 a month to watch shows with adverts. £40! Nah, going to cancel and hook up a Freeview box.

  • terrymccrum Terry McCrum (@terrymccrum) reported

@SkyUK It is really not good. Switches itself off even when set not to ! The playlist doesn’t always work- you can only watch stuff as agreements are valid & some stuff is immediately unavailable! Many channels missing which are on satellite. Rewind / ffwd poor. No real Freeview etc

  • Originsingamer zinorigins (@Originsingamer) reported

@Potatoe_Waffles @Machobeard4life It's on itv 4 not itv 1, still need to buy a freview box or have a TV with freeview built in, then you have to factor in that not everyone's signal would be perfect on freeview, so they will more likely use fite TV or subscribe to itv hub or britbox, it's not free TV at all

  • dougmcfarlane41 Douglas Mcfarlane (@dougmcfarlane41) reported

@theJeremyVine @thetrainline @AvantiWestCoast No because from August 10th 2021 until January 5th 2022 we had no Freeview signal thanks the Bilsdale transmitter fire so no TV whatsoever for us. Temporary service restored out of 220+ channels we've got 30 channels. So missed every single one of those and we had 1/2

  • HenryVlII Henry 🎱 (@HenryVlII) reported

@ReutersUK His freeview must've been down for the past two years, he ain't getting any local news.

  • donaloflynn Dónal O'Flynn (@donaloflynn) reported

@ApeGugas @Choyaa13 Was that really a thing back in the day? Never occurred to me before. Of course, nowadays all of the channels are in the same Freeview multiplex from the same mast.

  • Originsingamer zinorigins (@Originsingamer) reported

@Mrpaulfox @Potatoe_Waffles @Machobeard4life Digital TV only allows the 5 main channels everything else is freeview, most of us rely on WiFi to view American products, because not all of us have a freeview box because we don't wanna pay TV licence of the thieving BBC, which has literally the worst programming on it

  • DazzaField Darren (@DazzaField) reported

@SkyHelpTeam Hi, thank you for your reply. We actually had to cancel our sky TV Subscription because it became too unaffordable, we were using the box for freeview. Would we still be able to get a technician down without an active subscription?

  • ElDonoSuspendo Donald (@ElDonoSuspendo) reported

@BearryPolaris Yeah my new TV is some sort of gaming monitor. Has a way better picture and the Freeview to watch TV on it with but no smart ****. I wasn't interested I'd rather have a Firestick and I've a mini pc hooked up to my TV too.
