@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@Rhorud09 @patel4witham @SOS_Fraud @EstherMaile #Freeview tried to getme BBC 1 North West yesterday I was told todo it manually togo to channel 32 were I had no signal whatsoever Yet previously I had the channel before this lastcall to retune I also had last year 7 months without #TalkingPictures on channel 81 who is doing it

@FreeviewAdvice @richdeightondj OTOH...a stand alone Freeview box in my home says all channels are available. They look fine. The inbuilt tuner in the TV says weak signal or it can't find any even after a scan. Same transmitter but probably a different location to Rich. Approx Darlington.

@MintRoyale Weird. I've never had in HD. Can't get it even if I retune either Part of Ch Fours agreement was it's not available in HD on Freeview... Wonder if it's a regional thing? 🤔

It’s weird that there are five or six miserable 24hr news channels on freeview but not one 24hr sports news channel. There’s a big gap right there for a broadcaster to pivot their stupid 24hr cycle from ‘relentlessly depressing’ to ‘relentlessly (mostly) uplifting and fun’.

When our TV was installed the guy said we didn't need to worry about the satellite signal dropping when the weather was bad because the freeview would easily run through the Sky. Well guess what, it is absolutely pouring down with rain and we've lost all signal!
