  • MeurigRogers Morgan Barber-Rogers #FBPE melt and centrist dad (@MeurigRogers) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@bethanjenkins Project Kangaroo became YouView. It wasn’t shut down because it was a ppv model - it was meant to be like an online Freeview. It was shut down because it was deemed unfair competition for private companies. Who are now all Americans.

  • jonnyhern Jonathan (@jonnyhern) reported from Pontypool, Wales

@Thomoli @PhilipsCare_UK I’ve been waiting 8 weeks for same issue not worked for me since I bought my TV. I dont have an aeriel tho just satellite cable connected & internet but no catch up aps work or freeview

Just an FYI @DMAX_UK but you've just showed Series 3 Ep10 of #Archer, when the Freeview EPG (and your website) has you showing the correct in order Ep 9. It has the same down for the Sat midnight showing (ie Ep 10 is listed in you'll show Ep 9)

@S4C @virginmedia Yeah had the update but still not working, it hasn’t now for the last 3 or 4 live games, it must be a Virgin problem as I said freesat and freeview working, never mind I’ll stay with the Welsh language it’s fine

  • MarkHolla Mark (@MarkHolla) reported

Well after 7 years with @skytv looks like it's time to leave. Bill jumping from £68 to £94. Even the basic package if I removed cinema and sports is still £50. **** that. I'll go back to freeview. #Sky @SkyHelpTeam

  • MapleFiltered Gruffalo Trace (@MapleFiltered) reported

Can someone tell me how the hell a system as poor as @Freely_tv has been brought to market. Simply appalling designed, slow, clunky, user unfriendly and a MASSIVE downgrade on Freeview Play or You view. Deliberately avoiding selling TVs with your system now. Absolute nonsense

kids these days will never experience not having sky and channel hopping on freeview and finding the most random but interesting ****

  • FalaCatsco Catherine (@FalaCatsco) reported

@AgentP22 According to STV it's shows like Coronation Street etc, Albas figures are an impressive 530,000 adult viewers a week when it became available on Freeview and Virgin media, how odd. Their average viewing time is an hour and 40 mins? Never watched Alba, lot of Sports apparently.

  • ShoyebJeeva Shoyeb Jeeva (@ShoyebJeeva) reported

@lababer @virginmedia Freeview channels not working properly. Crystal palace transmitter.

  • tweetSP0RT tweetSP0RT (@tweetSP0RT) reported

@Ste15375723Mark @MartinSLewis @GMB FWIW I think most likely outcome is the licence fee will be kept as the least worst option. Advertising is non-starter as it would destroy ITV/C4/C5's revenue. Subscription isn't possible for Freeview/radio. Bundling in with tax would be spun badly for the gov.

  • PostFromProtest Postcards From Protest (@PostFromProtest) reported

@MEGA_NATIVE @PolitlcsUK Yes you can. You can watch any service you pay for. Discovery+ is not part of the licence fee terms. You sound confused to me. The licence fee is only required for live terrestial broadcasts and BBC iplayer. Terrestrial is BBC/ ITV/ C4 and 5 and some Freeview channels.

  • Woodydryad Sally Wood (@Woodydryad) reported

@The_East_End @LeeHurstComic Yep, over this way too. Even getting "white outs" on the TV set and neighbour had to add a dongle thingy to keep her laptop signal boosted enough to do course work. Guy who runs the shop who lives elsewhere, he says hes missing freeview channels, while i dont get any BBC at all
