@WilliamNB @giffgaff @O2 Have you asked for a different SIM? Otherwise I'd be tempted to switch as there is so much more competition now. I don't like poor service.

@gazza_d @KarlOnSea @girodilento I did hear that you are further down the priority list for bandwidth congestion with giffgaff than O2. (Also in a macho - mine is bigger than yours kind of way, I have more data than you are allowed buy, 40GB. Travelling a lot these days)

  • Peter_Bennet Peter Bennet 96.5% #FBCC (@Peter_Bennet) reported

@giffgaff Hi, I've to make a video call on my phone but that does not seem to be an option and internet search seems to indicate this might be a service provider feature - is it? Also found references to wi-fi calling and again that seems to be a service provider thing.

  • creventa Creventa (@creventa) reported

@loupepper But EE cannot be cancelled as easily as GiffGaff (which runs on the O2 network)

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@Peter_Bennet Both phones would need to support video calling to have the option to do that usually, Peter. What's the make and model of phone that you're using? - giffgaff Emer.

  • daycoder hywel (@daycoder) reported

@Snaptophobic Might not be what you want, but I usually buy refurbs from giffgaff and haven’t had a bad one. They start at £79 for a scruffy but fruity one.

Wondering if anyone @O2 or @giffgaff can explain why mobile internet shows as 4G but simply doesn't work in Newport, IW (PO30), and has been that way for about 18 months?

  • BennyHall17 Benny Hall (@BennyHall17) reported

@giffgaff is your service Down today?

  • DazFurey Daz Furey (@DazFurey) reported

@jaggytooth If you can afford it, buy a refurbished phone on eBay. Get a sim with with giffgaff. You’ll spend less over all that way. Obviously depends on reception too but. Giffgaff use O2 network’s. I bought a phone for about £600 and pay a tenner a month for line/4g

  • mikemilleresq mike miller (@mikemilleresq) reported

@GibbsMatt @EE You could try giffgaff fairly certain they won't credit check you, I assume this is a monthly contract issue?
