@Ajarncom I only have to call the UK from time to time. Best option I found was to order a Giffgaff SIM (or esim), stick a fiver in it and just top up when required. It usually connects to the AIS network here so calls etc all good. Serves 2 purposes with being able to receive UK SMS also

  • imcalledjac
    ᴊᴀᴄᴋ (@imcalledjac) reported

@giffgaff why does my network go down at 3pm everyday? It lasts about 30-45mins daily! It's beyond a joke now

  • graeuk

@O2 @giffgaff I'm on the Eurostar travelling back from Belgium. Signal tremendous all the way 5G /4G on Orange-B / Orange-F until I get to the UK when it keeps dropping and I get loading icons. Why in 2025 can't the UK have reliable signal throughout the country?

@SamRobi90967600 @hewantswealth Yh unlimited data isnt exactly unlimited Giffgaff has a 650GB limit. If you break it twice in a year then they can apparently just deactivate your account and refuse service. I only used around 900GB once. & that was because of watching netflix + post PC format game downloads

@YvonneM28 @Holz_mfc Same here with giffgaff which just like Sky uses the O2 network. Am considering switching to 3 network (maybe Smarty) to see if it works any better.

@JamEfter We're sorry to hear that there seems to be an issue moving your number across to us. Rest assured the agents will be able to help further via your case. In the meantime we would recommend removing your case reference number from public posts - giffgaff Jade
