@HSBC_UK been on the phone from 3pm. Over 4 hours and you have cut me of 3 times. "busier then usual times" such poor service. Time to move to a more reliable provider. Standards have dropped. 😔 As a business account you clearly don't value.

  • SheldonLT Sheldon Tarpey (@SheldonLT) reported from Birmingham, England

@enrubeyma @HSBC_UK I literally had the same problem yesterday. My question can’t be answered online and yet I never managed to get through on the phone after 40 mins yesterday. Painful.

  • eddieclarke96 Eddie Clarke 🐝 (@eddieclarke96) reported from Birmingham, England

@HSBC_UK @bat1150gs How about doing something now instead of waiting until September! You let customers lose access to their accounts and then say we can’t be bothered to do anything to make the app compatible, like all other banks have done #hsbc #fail

  • pudin54 judith coleyshaw (@pudin54) reported from West Bromwich, England

@HSBC_UK On online banking I keep getting a message GSA error. I have cleaned out cache and cookies and history, I have used 2 browsers. No joy. Using mobile banking I get message something went wrong. Your status says everything is fine! When will a normal service be resumed.

@ImTaLdon @HSBC_UK Hopefully they come back to you soon. Although leaving complaints unresolved and not getting back to customers after lodging a complaint. Clearly shows how bad their customer service is!

@HSBC_UK Harborne your customer service is lacking. Queue for ten minutes with change bags to pay in to be told I have to know the amount I’m paying in so he can “check my workings”. Went to the post office and they took it without question - and paid it into my HSBC account 🤯

  • ghose_animesh Animesh Ghose (@ghose_animesh) reported from Birmingham, England

@HSBC_UK hi one of my friend is having issues with credit card direct debit dispute. He has been trying to resolve it with your customer care team for many weeks but not getting anywhere. Will appreciate if someone can get in touch with him. Plz DM for his details. Thanks

  • taralfie Shazla (@taralfie) reported from Walsall Wood, England

  • StunnerCurves StunnerCurves (Birmingham,UK) £3 O.F💦 (@StunnerCurves) reported from Birmingham, England

HSBC Issues Reports

  • alioniravioli alioni ravioli (@alioniravioli) reported

@HSBC_UK How do we make an official complaint to yourselves? My partner has been on the phone for over an hour as her bank card seems to have been blocked but she has been told there's no block on it and everyone she speaks to can't help and passes her on to someone else...

  • ChrisPless1 Chris Pless (@ChrisPless1) reported

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK It's really part of the problem. The small/virtual banks usually the worst offenders surprised you had problems with HSBC. banks are normally great at actioning on fraud against their customers. Pretty poor on fraud being committed by their customers ....

  • JimBrowning11 Jim Browning (@JimBrowning11) reported

I played along with a @Visa scam today and got the details of a money mule. I tried to report this mule to @HSBC_UK and they were not interested. They'd "have to speak to the customer" i.e. the mule. Please train your fraud intelligence people to have some intelligence.

  • TheBertiepops John Gillett (@TheBertiepops) reported

@HSBC_UK I've sent a DM, but this is unlikely to change so doesn't really help. Although it's not what I actually want to do, I'm just going to have to set up with another bank (not Lloyds, as their online platform is rubbish).

  • PicassoRepublic PicassoRepublic 🇬🇧 🇮🇪 🇭🇺 🇪🇺 (@PicassoRepublic) reported

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK It would seem some banks still havent woken up to the fact that fraud isnt only a case of suspected fraud committed on one of their customer BUT a non customer may contact to report fraud by one of their customers.

  • Harry15693044 Harry (@Harry15693044) reported

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK Hey Jim, working in fraud here for a bank in the UK (not HSBC), almost all staff are trained to speak to customers only really, I'd say majority of my colleagues would react the same, overall flaw of how we are trained, your best bet is to ask to speak to a supervisor/manager 1/2

  • TonyChan_123 Tony Chan (@TonyChan_123) reported

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK I got crypto stolen, can you help me?

  • ronplyons Ronnie Lyons (@ronplyons) reported

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK Perhaps if the customer looses money, HSBC will be found to be fully liable as they were alerted to the scam and therefore allowed it to happen!!

  • EmmaLouise_90 Emma :) (@EmmaLouise_90) reported

Honestly sick to death of @HSBC_UK Can’t access my app, can’t pass security to speak to someone because I can’t answer questions about what I spent 3 weeks ago!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Changing banks immediately!!

  • TimboRoberts Tim, Harbinger of the Hour of Twilight (@TimboRoberts) reported

@JimBrowning11 @Visa @HSBC_UK This is the same HSBC that struggles to look after customers when they do get scammed right? Like, leaving them on hold for hours, or not showing interest in customer calls right? Or allowing money laundering? Not surprised.
