You establish a career but it slips away not through lack if talent but the industry focuses on new trainees & conferences without supporting existing talent to proceed. That's how informed the young people running these channels are about disability issues. I knew then there needs actual disabled people in positions if power before change will come. I went a few years earlier as quality was moving down the strategy. Interestingly itv have brought back stenos to cover their day time programming for quality.
