Newspapers will only stop all this when we stop reading and clicking. I never watched Love Island, but I tweeted at time it’s a shame Caroline Flack was pushed under a bus whilst ITV rushed to help rehabilitate Ant & Dec for ratings reasons.

So @ITV has decided that to protect its revenues, its catch-up app will no longer work of either of my recently purchased LG or Samsung TVs, nor on my @HumaxUK STB. Can't say I'm exactly heart-broken, but won't be using its suggested alternatives.

Hopefully @ITV will let other folk appear on #TheChase in their work clothes to advertise themselves as they did the Marilyn Munro impersonator. Maybe they just make exceptions for colleagues in 'the biz' though.🙄
