After getting duff info about my travel ins (benefit of my account) by @axainsurance I went into branch where he took time to get me through to someone at Axa, explained the problem and got it resolved. Great service.

In recent years, the fee waiver has kept me tied but rather than pay near ยฃ180pa, I can now explore better current account options with other banks.

So, very clearly, the app and online banking are NOT "up and running".
