@Justiinahh @AskNationwide I’m also having this exact same issue. My partner sent money from nationwide to my NatWest and it hasn’t arrived. Not sure if it’s nationwide or NatWest with the issue 😫

@AskNationwide We have unfortunately reached a point that leaves me no choice but to find new bankers I’ve tried to sort this matter out privately but got nowhere due to your employees following a Script written by somebody with no comprehension of customer relations

@AskNationwide Your habit of forcing customers to start new triple access accounts by changing them to instant access after 1 year is counterproductive. A better way is only allow one of these accounts per customer then it would be easier for you to increase the interest.

Hi @MartinSLewis, For context: I wanted to pay £100 cash into my gf's account to help her cover an unexpected bill. It was a one-off. I had all the necessary info (Account Number, Sort Code etc), but #Nationwide said I could only do it if I possessed her card. 🙄 @AskNationwide

Bit of unexpect cash today - £62 to be precise from @AskNationwide 15 years ago the Mister opened a cashbook account at Nationwide in Edinburgh to deposit some cash when his dad died on behalf of his nephew who was out of country but left it by his Grandad. It was in there for a couple of years Eventually he returned to Scotland and the Mister gave him the cash his dad (nephews grandad) wanted to leave him - the account was then at 0 Today ..... text from Nationwide to his number saying they had post returned to them and needed to speak to him about his account - he doesn't even have the passbook Couldn't use the automated service was we had no account number to hand and it kept cutting him off and saying it couldn't help without one. Decided to ring using my credentials as I have a current and savings account with them. I went through security and then explained about his text and asked if it was genuine and put him on the phone He gave his old address in Newcastle ..... nope .... EH6 they said ..... it was that far back and he gave them his old address in Leith. Bingo Turns out that the 0 became about a tenner or so in an interest payment the following year and it's earned interest ever since and it's now at £62 and a few pennies The letter was to say that his passbook account was now a sort code and account number, like a current account and was returned in the post. We've got the details and tomorrow he can log in and claim that little bit of cash Thanks Nationwide

@JLP_officialxxx @AskNationwide I'm no expert but might they put a CIFAS marker by your name (and anyone they think you are linked to) making it difficult to bank elsewhere? I would cooperate then close it and tell them to **** off.

Hi @AskNationwide Is there truth to the rumour that you're going to be given power to spy on older people's bank accounts? Please let me know in advance so can move to another bank who don't support such an invasion of privacy

@AskNationwide my daughter is trying to arrange a mortgage with Nationwide. It’s taking too long (4 weeks so far!) they keep telling her there is a problem with the IT system. I think someone has screwed up. Should she go elsewhere for her mortgage? 1/2
