@NatWest_Help. I accidentally paid funds to a NatWest Credit Card via faster payment. This credit card was closed a few years back. It took me 3 calls to get some info & I was advised it could take up to 21 days. I am a NatWest customer & it was paid to NatWest Account.

@TheFCA do you ever conduct reviews on whether banks are treating their customers fairly from a customer service perspective. NatWest / RBS, £10.8bn profit and yet you have to wait 84 minutes in a phone queue to speak to someone about your account.

@nufc89ta @christiancalgie Back in the 1980s, the Natwest had preferential savings accounts for children. Kids accounts gained interest, as money built up a new member of the piggy family in the form of a ceramic piggy bank. Child Trust Fund, Junior ISA. Makes no difference - just rebadging of the same sort of thing wrapped up in the form of a benevolent Government, which is a charade. Sure Start - never used - and it's effectively tax payers funding support for non-taxpayers so of no use to me or my kids. I have used them as a foster carer. It appeared no more than branding. During the coalition Govt days as they were apparently being axed, the many such centres I used seemed to carry on regardless, mostly an office for bean counters who didn't have much shap, out of the way, out of any scrutiny. Free childcare. Where is that then? Nothing is free. It's taxpayer funded. Taxes are 25% higher than mid 90s. Breakfast clubs - give me a break. Give a kid breakfast at home or get them to school an hour earlier and get them fed there. Ultimately it comes at a cost to the taxpayer again - circulation of money. I'd rather keep money in my pocket and chose where I spend it.
