Been Crypto trading. RBS debit card- 1st transaction went through, next blocked. Call from NatWest fraud team- account frozen. Passed all security questions, but instructed to go to a branch to show some ID. Also had lecture on cons of trading. WTF it’s my money! @NatWest_Help 🤬

@Tesco I took it to nationwide, which technically isn’t a bank, I’m going to NatWest today, hopefully they will take it, if not I will do what you suggest with my club card, thank you for your help, I will let you know how I get on .

@NatWest_Help I have been trying to get a bank statement with my address on it! Is so difficult! I need a proof of address to get some help as I have Covid #natwestbank services in that respect is appalling! You should be able to get that on the NatWest app #appalling

@MastercardUK can you advise if anyone will issue a credit card to a CI resident as i am not finding any of the local offshore banks will - Lloyds, NatWest wont thats for sure and i dont want a VISA so thats HSBC out of the window too.. please advise where i can get one.. thanks!

@MfanwyEvans Try the @financialombuds. I once switched banks to @NatWest_Help and on the day they switched my current account with £12,000 in it, they froze my account because they suspected identity fraud! The ombudsman should be able to help and instruct Natwest to compensate you.

*sigh* Lloyds Bank Guernsey impossible to get hold of by phone without going through a national number & an interrogation worthy of a captured cold war spy only to then be cut off. in complete contrast, NatWest, direct local numbers in to the department you want. come on Lloyds!

If Natwest don't fix the stability of their app, they're going to lose customers in their droves to the likes of Revolut and Monzo. Not acceptable to not be able to access your account 24/7. App's been down several times in the past few weeks. Rubbish.

@TravelodgeUK tried to book a room using a natwest mastercard debit card but the website kept telling me its an unrecognised card.. I tripled checked all the details but nothing seems to be working. I have no other method of paying..

2. @NatWest_Help @NatWestBusiness As no help can be given for a long term client who is on holiday using card , why would I stay with NatWest? I have to lessen my holiday plans now.😡 On my return to uk first thing will be to leave personal and NatWest business account! Useless!
