Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Redruth and nearby locations:
-
Matt (@matt_saunders_) reported from Marazion, England@cymraesydwi @tescomobile @O2 I can imagine. Deeply uncool of tesco to not recognize this as an issue.
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@O2 the mobile signal is getting very unreliable and the call quality is terrible, with echoes, faintness and other interference. I find it hard to believe in 2021 a government can sabotage communications by reversing roaming. in a queue for a call centre when the line dropped

-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@O2 spam reporting text service is buggy. Can't access message as in spam folder but it auto replies to ask for a reply with the name or number of the spam text. I reply with answer and just get same auto reply asking same question again. Forget a month later and the loop goes on
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@O2 you really ought to know about #Neurodiversity your automated voice asking people to say in a few words what they are calling about totally EXCLUDES people on the #spectrum - visual processors. Best to give numbers for departments to include all types of customer. #inclusive
-
Lisa-Marie (@BrownieLB_1) reported from St. Ives, EnglandO2 since when do your help desks cold call your clients about their accounts? I refuse to deal with anything when I’m contacted directly? 0330 303 5296 number has called me 4 times In 2 days #mobilephone @O2

Matt (@matt_saunders_) reported from Marazion, England@cymraesydwi @tescomobile @O2 Tbh ate bloody terrible. Definitely a goodwill payment due whenever they get it resolved…! I mean leaving a woman stranded with no mobile phone is downright dangerous.
-

-
Matt (@matt_saunders_) reported from Marazion, England@cymraesydwi @tescomobile @O2 Never known it to be this bad for anyone. May want to escalate to the CEO or something? I mean it’s far beyond customer service now, this has become a safeguarding issue because you can’t just put your life on hold. Maybe grab a cheap pay as you go sim in the meantime?
-
Lisa Brown (@BrownieLB_1) reported from St. Ives, England@bleddyn123 @O2 I’m paying £100.00 for the phone/contract a month 😳 can’t be any worse I’m looking at new service providers tomorrow
-
Jack Tempest (@Perranarworthal) reported from Falmouth, England@O2 hi, question. I want to do a number change. The online help says to ring customer services but customer services says it’s only dealing with lost/ stolen phones or cancellations/new business, and everything else is online. What would you recommend?
-
Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England@O2 As I said I never click any links. My question was, why isn't it picked up on the server as suspicious? Are there no algorithms to flag up links being sent in texts. This is already in my spam folder and reported so not sure how to forward it?

-
P-Man (@pmiddy78) reportedBeen a @VodafoneUK customer for 26 years, they have a network in the USA, yet they want me to pay £350 for us to use our phones when we are on holiday! @O2 do you want a loyal customer? What can you do for me?
-
Pete Lawson (@fidgetbumble) reported@kokeshimum @O2 I got 5g halfway up a mountain in the states. A hill here kills my signal
-
ME10Andy (@Me10Andy) reported@kokeshimum @O2 I think a lot of the issue is contention ratios in the UK. O2 has the coverage, but far too many people on it....not because O2 is particularly cheap, but the other main networks are now incredibly expensive.
-
Ian Aitch (@mankian4783) reported@kokeshimum @O2 02 is awful. Joined 3 network years ago. Miles better
-
stuart wall (@StuartWall34) reported@kokeshimum @O2 I switched from o2 to EE because of poor coverage
-
Richard Dominy (@DominyRichard) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Deployment of cell site masts is a real problem for the networks. Many councils refuse planning because of local opposition and pressure groups. In addition the forced swap out from Chinese telco equipment massively delayed expansion of the networks. UK is now 5yrs behind.
-
James (@jameshullfc) reported@O2 @iamryanodonnell Can’t even provide any signal in parts of Hull for 20 years
-
Steven (@synceduk) reportedHi, I have recently joined @O2 on PAYG and topped up and ported my number in. Why am I getting an error when trying to log in to Priority followed by a text message telling me to top up to continue enjoying Priority? I am a new customer.
