Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Knockmore, Northern Ireland@O2 But thanks for your valiant “how can we help” which you know and I know was “customer service theatre”. 🎭 It really gives the impression you care one iota about customer service and privacy. 👌 Which is, of course, nonsense. But good play 👏

Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@O2 2) They’ve endured under this contract for 30 months (exploited by salesmen) and it finally ends in April so they’ve asked me to help them. I went into our local O2 store and they told me it was a 33 month contract, wasn’t actually with them and there would be a termination fee
-
Ashleigh Shaw (@SWAshleigh) reported from Ballygowan, Northern IrelandHow do I make a complaint with @O2
-
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@O2 You don’t get the same experience on @ThreeUK - never get shady third party companies calling. You treat your customers like another product to be sold. It should be criminal. I’m actually disgusted. 🤮
-

O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Big Ed (@62BigEd) reported@kokeshimum @O2 UK is so bad with mobile phone coverage. I've been to Iceland and had a full signal with 5g driving through a tunnel or way out in the wilderness.
-
Brendamcdnot56🏴🇪🇺 (@brendamcdnot56) reported@xxxxminniex @O2 No she doesn't. **** off.
-
Peter Reid (@Ptr1263Reid) reported@kokeshimum @O2 It’s crap all over the country.
-
Alan Neil Duncan (@AlanDuncan1971) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Was in Estonia earlier this year, everywhere you went, no matter how remote the signal was booming. I drive 1m from my home and you start losing reception and that’s on the outskirts of Edinburgh; it’s pathetic and yet we pay more for a poorer service
-
MDT (@MattyDTownsend) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Speaking from experience O2 is by far the worst network in the UK.
-
blueShrew (@totfinsol) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Simple. The last government scraped the plan to role out 5G masts which were to be built by Huawei which a Chinese company. Because the US don’t trust China they told us we couldn’t either and so the role out never happen. Any 5G bandwidth is being used by the war effort.
-
Steve Dower (@zooba) reported@willmcgugan @O2 Doesn't sound any worse than any of the rest of them, tbh. Call their line to cancel your service, then tell them exactly what you need in order to not cancel and you'll probably get it. That line is the real customer service.
-
Chris (@Uncle_C_J) reported@xxxxminniex @O2 This happened to my elderly mum, too! A few months in a row. I kicked off with O2. They did help out and refund a good chunk of it. Then I put a spend cap of £0 on. It stops all the premium rate things like this happening.
-
Paul Blackledge (@Paul_Blackledge) reported@kokeshimum @O2 I always used to find it amazing that I would get full signal in the desert, miles from the nearest person in Kuwait, yet come home to the U.K. and some very populated places still have zero signal. Crazy planning restrictions stunting growth on masts I would imagine.
-
helen 🍒🪩 (@doyoujive) reported@kokeshimum @O2 i’m with ee and mine is the same sometimes. i went to iceland a few years back and had better signal in the peninsulas and at the top of a mountain than i do in the uk. people don’t believe me but its true
