Brendan Bonner (@BrendanB2) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@O2 I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying online and redeeming your phone. Go to the store, you can’t trust any of the online and virtual services. Was a handling getting phone set up, getting help and they only give you 50% of the value they say (no matter how good your phone is).
-
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Knockmore, Northern Ireland@O2 But thanks for your valiant “how can we help” which you know and I know was “customer service theatre”. 🎭 It really gives the impression you care one iota about customer service and privacy. 👌 Which is, of course, nonsense. But good play 👏
-

Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@Aerial_Direct @O2 I’ve spoken to Naomi on your team already. That’s was a useless ten minutes. Refused to tell me details of how to cancel - just threatened temrination fees. Offered renewal. Honestly she would have had to have offered a unicorn in a colour of my choice to get a renewal.
-
ANN P V ALLAN (@apallan) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@Girlzmum Very poor service from @O2 especially to a front line worker in the NHS #NHS who needs her phone.
-
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@O2 2) They’ve endured under this contract for 30 months (exploited by salesmen) and it finally ends in April so they’ve asked me to help them. -
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland@O2 You don’t get the same experience on @ThreeUK - never get shady third party companies calling. You treat your customers like another product to be sold. It should be criminal. I’m actually disgusted. 🤮
-
Ian Robinson (@IanRobinson) reported from Stormont, Northern Ireland@chriswb @O2 No. Plus it says No Service where the O2 logo should be. I might try the SIM in my O2 iPhone.

O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Steve (@happystokey) reportedYou tweet @O2 asking for help after your phone has been stolen on holiday. You receive a public facing, sympathetic response asking you to message privately. You do and... nothing. You can't help thinking it's glossy PR. Either there's nobody there or they don't care
-
Next Chapter Tattoo (@NextChapterTat) reported@O2 Why are you no longer able to send away repairs from store? Weve been sent pillar to post.... store flat our refused to send away for repair. I think this may be a false advertising issue...website needs updating as it says differently.
-

Mr Paul Goddard Esquire (@onemoreday1966) reportedJust nearly been scammed by someone claiming to be from @O2 The first to tell ppl to be careful, but I was suckered in, ended call and called the company to make sure all was well. Great customer service from them though. People beware!
-
Shana Hendry (@Happyengland79) reported@O2 are stealing from it's customers by making it impossible to claim our rewards. This will also be passed onto the ombudsman as your complaints service is ****! #evidenceforombudsman
-
The Tourette's in my head (@TouretteIn) reported@FHawksworth @O2 I know what you mean, these consultations can go either way, depending on who you get. And I have had weird issues with Vodafone and EE not connecting, no idea why, some calls go straight to voicemail despite the phone being charged and in range. Technology inconsistency sucks!
