@O2 2) They’ve endured under this contract for 30 months (exploited by salesmen) and it finally ends in April so they’ve asked me to help them. I went into our local O2 store and they told me it was a 33 month contract, wasn’t actually with them and there would be a termination fee

  • columcoyle
Colum Coyle (@columcoyle) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@angelcosta78 @DPDgroup_news @O2 @AppleSupport I’ve sent a complaint to O2 asking for a refund of the three days I’m missing out on my device plan. They’ve already charged me!

  • billyjatkins
billy (@billyjatkins) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@seanp280 @O2 Where are you in Belfast? I live beside city hospital and I get full bars all over the city, 5G too! Only when I venture into the depths of County Down does it deteriorate lol

  • MrsZouZou
Zoё Pritchard (@MrsZouZou) reported from Donaghcloney, Northern Ireland

.@O2 sitting in a power cut, but at least I have full 4G signal…. Despite what my phone shows, nothing is updating and have been forced to hotspot off my husband’s EE signal… not your finest hour!

  • BrendanB2
Brendan Bonner (@BrendanB2) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@O2 I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying online and redeeming your phone. Go to the store, you can’t trust any of the online and virtual services. Was a handling getting phone set up, getting help and they only give you 50% of the value they say (no matter how good your phone is).

  • paulmcerlane
www.paulmcerlane.net (@paulmcerlane) reported from Crumlin, Northern Ireland

Em (@EmGymMum) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@O2 @KLogan1977 Update: So @O2 asked me to DM details of the issue. I sent it hours ago, yet still no response. I wonder if there is an intention to help or it is an illusion of good customer service. Nor have I got promised call back after 22 hours from the CS phoneline. Not good!!

  • gareth_thmpsn
Gareth Thompson (@gareth_thmpsn) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@O2 you guys got a number to your payments team? I need to speak to someone. Automated IVR is poor.

  • cimota
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@Aerial_Direct @O2 I’ve been onto your customer services. They refused to tell me how much it would cost to buy out this awful contract. Threatened termination fees from @o2. A retentions team will be in contact. 🙄 My family member *thought* she was with @o2 - misdirection from you of course. 🤮

  • cimota
Matt Johnston (@cimota) reported from Knockmore, Northern Ireland

@O2 But thanks for your valiant “how can we help” which you know and I know was “customer service theatre”. 🎭 It really gives the impression you care one iota about customer service and privacy. 👌 Which is, of course, nonsense. But good play 👏

  • TheRealJackieJ
Jackie Johnston (@TheRealJackieJ) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@O2 Thanks. How do we unsubscribe from this ****? We pay for 5 contracts and do not wish to receive these messages particularly on children’s phones.

  • McGuinnessKevin
Kevin McGuinness (@McGuinnessKevin) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

  • jtoal
James Toal (@jtoal) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@O2 Yes of course it is, but not when I needed it last night. It is *invariably* down when I try to use it late at night. I raised this issue a few months ago also.

  • HughEdw54983916
    Hugies (@HughEdw54983916) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I thought you believed in the free market. It's not the government's job to support mobile phone operators.

  • iamryanodonnell
    Ryan O'Donnell (@iamryanodonnell) reported

@O2 Thank you but I’ve pretty much done all of this. The network needs serious investment to manage the amount of people connected, and to ensure data is reliable and stable.

  • drhanko2
    Dr Hanko Honkasson (@drhanko2) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Tom Tugendhat suggesting that somehow the Government is responsible for very poor coverage by privately run mobile networks in Dulwich, and that taxpayer should be funding improvements for companies like EE (2025 profits £1.2 billion) as infrastructure rather than cycle lanes.

  • SoSoaksy
    Amelia Eberhardt-Armstrong (@SoSoaksy) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 They are reducing signal strength to save electricity costs. They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight. Doesn’t seem to be subject to regulatory measures

  • 13theatre
    13th Theatre Co (@13theatre) reported

@O2 Hi I am not on 02 but I am being continually harassed. I made a complaint to your Fraud team and I presumed it was closed as I received a letter saying I had nothing to pay. I received two texts asking for money. There is no identification on the text

  • Robbbb58
    Rob (@Robbbb58) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 The sooner Elon sorts out direct to phone satellite connection the better, **** these useless companies off for good.

  • KettchUK
    KettchUK (@KettchUK) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Don't worry, the private sector will be along any moment with that investment you said they'd be putting into the network decades ago.

  • BenjaminEHowe
    Ben (@BenjaminEHowe) reported

@AndyFurnival2 @TomTugendhat @O2 It was better when there were fewer mobile devices competing for the same signal.

  • EadrictheWild
    👨🏻‍💻 ⚡️ (@EadrictheWild) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Becuase partly we don't put enough masts In (5g requires them every 300 meteres in cities) and partly because there's 10 million people more using our phone network than in the official cencus

  • GillRaeWalker
    Gillian Jamieson (@GillRaeWalker) reported

@browncharley23 @TomTugendhat @O2 Minimally - they work in an outage.
