Greg - Israelite in Exile (surviving the Galut) (@anexiledjew) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @vodafone I've seen this in other countries, and there's no reason it can't be implemented in the UK. Because these networks don't have the ability to properly cover the entire country, there's absolutely no reason we can't have domestic roaming in the same way we have international roaming. They wouldn't have to charge for it because every single mobile network would benefit from it. If you can't get an EE signal, for example, you would roam to Vodafone instead. It could be switched on instantly, but they choose not to do this.
-
Ysbyddaden (@Ysbyddaden2) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I can't get a signal. I blame the cycle paths. Pathetic.
-
Tarry® (@Tarrybear87) reported@O2 hi my iPhone Air the data is so slow or doesn’t work even if I have signal in 4g and 5g, I use my phone for work sometimes so would the carrier settings need updating or something? Seems to be no problems in my area as I can see
-
A1_bloke (@a1_bloke) reported@O2 trying to view O2 bills is too hard! click on bill link in email enter login and password go back to email to click on new link close new window and return to old window if you closed old window you have to start again @OfCom should require Telcos to attach bill to emails
-
Randy Van Warmer (@AManWithAClue) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Not a problem on the continent
-
Patrick Hölscher (@allnewtomorrow) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Who is virtue signalling? "But we’re spending £4.5 billion in bike lanes and crossings" Know what Paris now also has? Far superior bike infrastructure, in addition to their better mobile network buildout. Perhaps you should have countered 5G fears better when in government.
-
Paddy Briggs 🇪🇺 🇵🇸 🏳️🌈🇬🇱 🇪🇸 (@PaddyBriggs) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 Or could it be that privatisation, big dividends to shareholders, huge remuneration for top executives isn’t the best way to run a public service ?
-
Neil T (@t_neil21461) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 O2 is ****. There are alternatives not least esims that connect you to the best signal locally.
-
GTSmoz (@GTSmoz) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE But you had 14 years to fix it
-
Jon Burke 🌍 (@jonburkeUK) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Can Tom Tugendhat MP explain why he thinks we shouldn’t build the kind of - excellent value - safe cycling infrastructure that characterises affluent societies like the Netherlands because, err, private companies can’t provide him with a decent phone signal?
