Seems @O2 are preparing for 5G by making 4G unusable - several places like this with great signal (5 bars, 4G+) but zero bandwidth

@packlam73 @O2 @EE That's not how that works (speaking as an ex-network guy who worked on building the EE née T-Mobile / Orange 4G network.) Also, EE were the only bidder ;-)

@christof_b @RossUKRFC @O2 I was with them for a similar length of time never got anything except poor service and higher bills - I left, they didn’t even try and see if they could help just booted me out the door faster

@RossUKRFC @O2 Been with @O2 20 years and no surprise box for me but signal lately has been horrific. Cornwall for a week could hardly get anything whilst friends we were with on Vodafone and EE were fine and festival the weekend couldn’t even send a text despite it saying I had 3 bars of 4G.
