Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Olney and nearby locations:

  • GlennMillward G (@GlennMillward) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Avoid Plusnet like the plague. Awful customer service.

  • craigwest Craig West (@craigwest) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@ruskin147 @PippaCrerar @virginmedia Virgin Media outage sounds like an issue with the broadband connection between Virgin and your home. The WiFi coverage within your home should be a quite separate issue? My Plusnet router didn’t give great WiFi coverage so I added TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi and have no issues now.

  • alexdn32 Alex Loche (@alexdn32) reported from Irchester, England

@cornelius_mark @SkyHelpTeam @primevideosport It's due to the issues with the Sky Channels on BT's TV Platform. BT and Plusnet will be using the Now TV platform for the Sky Channels, but BT want them in HD and recordable via the TV guide. Sky engineers are having to sort it out because it's a sky software issue with Youview.

  • PaulWestlake Paul Westlake  (@PaulWestlake) reported from Bedford, England

Is PlusNet broadband down in Bedford?! @plusnethelp - No connection since 23:15 last night.

  • purgstallheath Father Oliver Coss (@purgstallheath) reported from Northamptonshire, England

@marcwebber @VodafoneUK @OpenreachHelp Ha! Well, the call centre man - who was very excited to tell me I was speaking to someone in Egypt - who told me Openreach was responsible was evidently mistaken. All fixed now - a shame as I've had full service from BT and Plusnet, but never outages like this. 3 days in 2 months.

  • CraigHawker Craig Hawker (@CraigHawker) reported from Wellingborough, England

@SimonDarksideJ I'm on plusnet. No issues whatsoever.

  • GlennMillward G (@GlennMillward) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Still absolute shocking WiFi speeds and customer service non-existent from #plusnet @plusnet don’t return calls exit fee when service not right from day 2. Useless and can not understand how they exist. Ombudsman next I think.

@PScotfree I just need to ask your permission to do that first as it will cause the wireless signal to drop out for about two minutes, please feel free to message us with your username so I can do that for you. 2/2 - Adam - Plusnet Sheffield

  • Jackson93439084 Jackson (@Jackson93439084) reported

@Plusnet Broadband up and down this afternoon and all you can advise is to reset the router YET again ! then hours to reset up all the google products and wifi plugs and apps. You have an outage problem not me, you didn`t do me proud ! appalling service. !

  • LizPippett Liz Pippett (@LizPippett) reported

@Plusnet . Already a customer. Can i upgrade to fiber but not include line rental . Thanks

  • wjslater William Slater (@wjslater) reported

@Plusnet Thanks for the reply. I use EE and was advising a Plusnet customer about the current outage. I suspect Plusnet uses the EE network?

  • JulianFonseka1 Julian Fonseka (@JulianFonseka1) reported

@Plusnet weird question, I've found an old router from when I was a customer previously. Do you normally have these back, or am I free to dispose of? Cheers.

  • ciare29 Clare (@ciare29) reported

@Plusnet I'm trying to set up firewall (low) on my broadband but it keeps saying error occurred. Please help.

  • Plusnet Plusnet (@Plusnet) reported

@DonnaC08 Hi Donna, I'm very sorry for all the difficulty we've been having with your new service. I've taken a look at your account and it looks like things are in hand with my colleagues, but if there's anything else you need from us just let us know. - Cal, Plusnet Leeds

  • arnold_hamish Hamish Arnold (@arnold_hamish) reported

@blogmywiki I had issues with Giffgaff all summer. I'd have full 4g signal but no data anywhere with lots of people -capacity issues with masts perhaps? As an aside, I've switched to Plusnet mobile. They use EE and are much better and cheaper.

  • CllrAsimMahmood Asim Mahmood (@CllrAsimMahmood) reported

@Plusnet really disappointed. You guys have messed up my number port for my mobile and I’ve just learned you’ve cancelled my broadband because you think I have 2 phone lines at my house. Ever hear of contacting the customer before doing something so drastic?

  • Smitchalot Sarah Mitchell (@Smitchalot) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp I remember even having the conversation last year about youctrying to put my bill up for less service and the person I spoke to confirmed it’s £24.99 a month going forward.
