Got some pithy emails from Plusnet because I've changed service provider and they're clearly taking it personally. Lads, it's not my fault you're 150 quid a year more expensive than John Lewis. And yes, I can cope without BT Sport.

@WingsScotland Stu - problem may be with plusnet/BT. Tried edge, chrome and ie from my laptop plus safari from my phone and couldn’t get to site through my router. Switched to 4g on phone and works fine. I’m with plusnet

Argh.. annual accounts: fixed-line broadband went down in middle of some transfers. Re-routed through a 4G provider to let my provider know. @Plusnet fixed the problem in about 10 minutes: well done!

@Plusnet I'm constantly having to restart my router multiple times a day to get board and connected, registered a ticket no reply and now the Plusnet website isn't working correctly and states I'm changing my package....why have the service standard declined so quickly?

Wow #plusnet been a loyal customer for 10 years and because I want to leave one month before my contract ends you can't forgo the early exit fee of £8.46! Looks like I made the right decision to sever ties with you!!!

@Plusnet Come on - you can do better than bogstandard cut and paste responses. I was on the phone for hours with your staff three times on friday. I was told that these speeds were allowable. Allowable but sooo poor!!
