@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • nigelivy
Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • internetsense
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

  • PaulReid74
Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • StripeyMiata
Jonathan McCormack (@StripeyMiata) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@Cruzetavia @TalkTalk @Plusnet Heard that before, but apparently the FTTP support is UK based and not outsourced.

Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

@Plusnet Hi. I seem to be having more and more problems connecting to my Wi-Fi in the Attic. Is there something you or I can do to improve my signal up there? I keep hearing about Wi-Fi extenders. Can you provide me with one?

  • itconor
itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

@Plusnet Sorry as a vulnerable person I am not confident enough to set it up myself and feel as a good customer you should do this for me rather than have me having to change to another provider to get this service

@Plusnet Hi as far as I can tell, I don't see any wiring issues. Am I right in thinking that Openreach installed a new line as part of the process of transferring to Plusnet?

  • andy17467869
    andy (@andy17467869) reported

@Plusnet Its switched of because it doesn't show up in house when I scan thats why nothing is connected it doesn't show up ...and because your routers are ( crap ) as your tech guy said ..they struggle to reach upstairs so I need a booster and 2 .4 goes further thats why its turned off

@Plusnet And yet you keep putting barriers in my way and NOT listening to your disabled customers. Your one-size approach does NOT fit all. Apologies are hollow if you aren't listening to your disabled customer's needs. Had enough of this, it's upsetting.
