Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc
-
itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc
-
Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

-
Thee Djentleman (@AnthonyAshtoon) reported@reynlord @Plusnet @WeAreOpenreach Used to work for BT and this isn't even rare, they've done similar stuff to loads of people. Worst I had reported was the extention and hub they installed on someone's wheelie bin (in garage) so if they moved the bin the hub just hung in mid air.
-
Crone(akaCorona)🤒Alone😷 (@PamillaBAV1) reported@Louperb @TalkTalk @Plusnet I'm lucky with speed etc. Had an issue when it was off over a weekend early Nov but that was down to a **** up at the BT exchange
-
Alistair Broomhead (@theheadofabroom) reported@ephemeragrrl Hmm. Bad man! Why not set it up as a parallel network with a different SSID and then switch it over once everything is stable? That's what I did when we switched from Virgin to Plusnet, but then I guess Blue/Green deploys are a thing I pushed for back when I was still working.
-
Oliver Hiscox (@OLIFAByt) reported@Plusnet @Plusnet Worst internet providers in this world (AVOID PLUSNET) constantly cutting in and out!
