Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Comber and nearby locations:

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

  • PatrickMBelfast Patrick (@PatrickMBelfast) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Plusnet Hi. I seem to be having more and more problems connecting to my Wi-Fi in the Attic. Is there something you or I can do to improve my signal up there? I keep hearing about Wi-Fi extenders. Can you provide me with one?

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • gemmacaddell86 Gem (@gemmacaddell86) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

Saturday night to enjoy tv with willow not here and plusnet not working, awesome

  • inkedcaribbean inkedup_britishjamaican (@inkedcaribbean) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Plusnet please improve your customer service

  • robmoff Rob Moffat (@robmoff) reported

@Plusnet OK thanks. Crackling on phone line as well which seems to me like a fault on the line. We had problems with our line last year as well

  • roboemjay SmoothEmJay (@roboemjay) reported

@VodafoneUK @Plusnet can you offer a package similar to these clowns? We should never have left you.

  • mscarlettsmith Madeleine Scarlett (@mscarlettsmith) reported

@Plusnet hello - is there an outage in London?

  • Wardy257 skyfall (@Wardy257) reported

@Plusnet Your troubleshooter is really awful. It asks me to try a different microfilter but I was never provided with one, let alone a spare. The troubleshooter has no option to say that. It forces you to either lie and say you tried it or tries to scare you that you will get charged.

  • sarah2177kirk Sarah Kirl (@sarah2177kirk) reported from Skegness, England

@Plusnet What a shame you want to charge me a £176 exit fee when my partner and I are both plusnet customers moving in together so will only require one internet service! A great way to repay our customer loyalty over the years...

  • mikeapollo Mikeapollo (@mikeapollo) reported

So, the @Plusnet issue rolls on. DNS still poisoned, bill outstanding, payments in pending and no loss of service credits for being cut off due to their payment system being broken. Thank god we leave on the 18/07. This is pants. Verizon have been awesome though.

  • EllieWest11 Ellie West (@EllieWest11) reported

@yvonneredbourn I have no broadband. Haven't had all morning. Have tweeted Plusnet but so far no response. Lots of similar issues on the Battle Facebook pages.

  • jaggythistle50 jaggy thistle (@jaggythistle50) reported

@Plusnet dreadful service. Just joined last week and no Internet for over 2 hours tonight. I'll be cancelling tomorrow.

  • Jillyeeha Jill Fenton (@Jillyeeha) reported

@Plusnet Unreliable phone line and internet since end 2020. Money taken from that I don’t owe. Even ombudsman couldn’t get through. Blocking my access to websites including their own. Problem not in home as Openreach already visited home. 48 phone calls. 40 emails. Disgrace.

  • mikeapollo Mikeapollo (@mikeapollo) reported

@Plusnet Too late, already cancelled. Its not getting online that's been the issue - it's your faulty DNS intercepts that have caused a bigger headache than an actual disconnection would have. Just for that, it's a never again.
