Patrick (@PatrickMBelfast) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@Plusnet Hi. I seem to be having more and more problems connecting to my Wi-Fi in the Attic. Is there something you or I can do to improve my signal up there? I keep hearing about Wi-Fi extenders. Can you provide me with one?
-
Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc
-
Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.
-
Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

Gem (@gemmacaddell86) reported from Castlereagh, Northern IrelandSaturday night to enjoy tv with willow not here and plusnet not working, awesome
-
Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

inkedup_britishjamaican (@inkedcaribbean) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland@Plusnet please improve your customer service

Mark Crowther (@MarkTWIC) reported@Owramgirl @bt_uk I'm considering Vodaphone if price is the main concern, Plusnet is also on that list. Zen if I decide to pay more for a company that seems more customer focused. All are cheaper than the best offer from BT.

rosie posie (@rosieon25371922) reported@Plusnet I joined in Dec. Promised £150 voucher. Claimed it. Never arrived. Chased to be told u have no record of me claiming & I can't prove claim as done on your website so tough luck out of time. WTF? This is not a "straightforward" way to do business. It is welching! Pay up!
-
UKRyan (@RyanUK90) reported@Plusnet Anyway you guys can give praise / positive comment to a specific customer service representative, the man I just spoke to on the phone was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and understanding and just a perfect example of what customers want!
-
Freedom Valley (@VRvalley) reported@AlisonMLees @Plusnet Even though the service is free for the next two years, the fact that a fee is being introduced at all for a service that was previously "included" constitutes a change in the long-term value of the contract you signed.
-
Wanga-unLimited (@Consumer4You) reported@Plusnet We've been told that we must renew by 8 March but as you are dropping phone service on broadband we will cancel instead. Will the account and bills lapse if we do nothing? Thanks
-
rosie posie (@rosieon25371922) reported@Plusnet I want my £150 reward. Cough up and stop welching and breaking contract. It is bad faith and appalling behaviour. Sort this out as your team on the phone do not sort this out. They lie and gaslight.
-
rosie posie (@rosieon25371922) reported@PlusnetCS_ @Plusnet @Plusnetcs_ I spent over a week chasing this with considerable stress & excuses & gaslighting from u. You r doing everything in your power to wheedle out of coughing up reward. Disgusted & I will never use your company again! How many others do u do this to who give up?

Helene Lens (@HeleneFrenchie.bsky.social) (@HeleneFrenchie) reportedForced to change from @Plusnet to @EE last week. Phone did not work for 4 days. Now emails not working, can't send emails out. Do you seriously expect us to be paying for your non-existent service??

Richard (@visitandtravel) reportedI just signed up for Starlink - finally gave in, the EE 4G has been broken for 3/4 days - now basically running on candle power - back onto the fallback BT copper broadband @ Plusnet - 3MB connection and costing me £28 a month on a 1 year contract - a lot more for the standard line rental and broadband if I do not take the 1 year contract. So now as I am in Caithness 3 miles away from a telephone exchange I need to pay EE for semi-decent 4G broadband when it works, and BT through Plusnet to have a working telephone for emergencies if 4G fails - as it does. And yet I still have the emails from the Scottish Government from over 8 years ago saying everyone would be on fast fibre connection by 2020 or around that time. I checked with Openreach and they have no intention of laying fibre to the property even though they can get access to a Government grant of over £4,400 to do so. A company, Highland Broadband is busy taking these rural fibre broadband grants and doing their best to get the north of Scotland rural and small towns connected - I am signed up for a 1GB fibre connection - supposed to be getting installed this summer - I just cant wait that long so - yet another expense for a poor pensioner (me) having to pay out for yet another broadband connection with Starlink. As I am in contract to Plusnet (BT), EE I can see if Highland Broadband do deliver the fibre by July - I will have 4 contracted broadband accounts until the contracts run out. If Only the Scottish Government had kept to their promises I would only need to have one connection.

DerylLynn on stranger’s island (@DerylLynn) reported@ianward2000 @ms__care Thank you but I have a feeling that this is a scam . Look at their page 0 followers and they ask for WhatsApp details . I almost fell for it over my issue with Plusnet , they get very aggressive when you don’t give them your bank details
