Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Comber and nearby locations:

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • PatrickMBelfast Patrick (@PatrickMBelfast) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Plusnet Hi. I seem to be having more and more problems connecting to my Wi-Fi in the Attic. Is there something you or I can do to improve my signal up there? I keep hearing about Wi-Fi extenders. Can you provide me with one?

  • gemmacaddell86 Gem (@gemmacaddell86) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

Saturday night to enjoy tv with willow not here and plusnet not working, awesome

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • BatchStfc Batch_STFC (@BatchStfc) reported

@joteddyuk @dvla @Plusnet And the funny bit.. Used the online service to re-do the application yesterday This time it picked up his passport photo so only needed a picture of signature. Got an email today saying his provisional will be here in 3 weeks :)

  • mikos Mike Carter (@mikos) reported

@Plusnet My internet connection is running at a quarter of its usual speed this week. Can you help?

  • MrPSB_ebooks MrPSB_ébooks (@MrPSB_ebooks) reported

Same as Internet, Plusnet are trying their best interests of democracy, I would have been cheering a two part scheme to defraud players and Frontier were a proper bad guy as well, eh?

  • McDougallSophia Sophia McDougall, MSt (@McDougallSophia) reported

@Plusnet You're saying it was correct for nobody to call me for the now more than 24 hours since I told you the problem was still there?

  • joteddyuk Jo Rogers (@joteddyuk) reported

@BatchStfc @dvla @Plusnet Each time took 12 weeks to inform us, so dragged on for 5 months. By then had a new passport did online and received within a week. Have you got lessons booked? That was the next problem!

  • CPrincess2709 kirsty bailey (@CPrincess2709) reported

@Plusnet there has apparently always been an issue with the line... Something to do with it being too far from the green box... The green box is 15 meters from the edge of the building.. The line comes in the very edge of my kitchen... Along the kitchen & living room wall under a window

  • BatchStfc Batch_STFC (@BatchStfc) reported

@joteddyuk @dvla @Plusnet We did, had to cancel because of delays.

  • Dunc_O3 Dunc (@Dunc_O3) reported

@OpenreachHelp Hi David, spoke to Plusnet who tell me the job order has been “closed down” with a report that there was no reply from the broadband router. This was unsurprising to me as I was expecting the engineer (who didn’t arrive) to fit a new telephone socket.
