  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • MARKEYE Mark *Rejoiner* Bentley💙 (@MARKEYE) reported

@globalhlthtwit Best broadband provider I’ve found after trying several is Plusnet. Their customer care is very good which, after reliability, is the thing you really need.

  • shysecretagent Dr Deborah Pearson (@shysecretagent) reported

I just wanted to say to all 3180+ of my followers, @Plusnet are so so so bad. Use literally any other service provider. We won’t have internet for a week through no fault of ours and I have spent hours on the phone being shuffled from one person to another. Terrible provider.

  • denise_ds1 Dee (@denise_ds1) reported

@plusnet. 3rd day internet down, no responses to messages. Please can some one respond to say the fault has been reported at least rather than just telling me to reset the box?

  • Vespii Charlotte (@Vespii) reported

@Plusnet 3+ disconnects today within 4 hours, whilst ive been talking to customers. No response to 2 tweets.. please sort this out, I dont know how you haven't fixed your issue. Same problems yesterday.

  • Vespii Charlotte (@Vespii) reported

Also this is not to the poor souls who work in customer service but Plusnet as a company need to sort their infrstructure out. Its been years of subpar internet, I honeslty struggle to believe in this day and age that you cannot set up proper infrastructure for your customers.

  • ArghWhippets Whippets 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇪🇺 #FBSI (@ArghWhippets) reported

@MoragSievwright PlusNet and EE are BT so expect the same poor level of support. Is it your broadband that's poor or your wifi? Connect your phone to the wifi, stand near the wifi box, install and run the ookla speed checking app. This will tell you if the broadband is slow.

  • JTedFischer Wally (@JTedFischer) reported

@VodafoneUK I've had @OpenreachHelp attend to connect my broadband today, they say they have to install cabling over the neighbouring 2 houses and need permission first! This was never mentioned to me before. I have existing phone line and broadband with @Plusnet. Please advise.

  • bakeliteguy Guy Roberts (@bakeliteguy) reported

@globalhlthtwit I cancelled mine today. Been total garbage in terms of providing a reliable solution and customer service and don't start me on price.. Gone to @Plusnet

  • itsmeag52425650 itsmeagain (@itsmeag52425650) reported

@Plusnet I've been trying to get it sorted by you lot since last December. The service has been diabolical throughout. 8 months of pure hell. Never again.

  • Sj20551451 Sj (@Sj20551451) reported

@globalhlthtwit Plusnet is quit good had no issues with them even during lockdown with work and school work being done online all at the same time They seem easy to get hold off too
