@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

@Plusnet I don't know how many more calls I can make that go unanswered. How many more times in a day my router needs reset. I'm paying for internet that doesn't work nor help that never comes

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

@Plusnet you've taken over my line when I never requested this. BT tells me it was forced through despite me contacting them about it after I has a text from you. I haven't done this and have no idea why this is happening.

@Plusnet Respect to @Plusnet and Matt for testing my line remotely to analyse it. They checked the router remotely and made some changes to my router's wireless channel that might work and asked me to keep an eye on various other issues and get back in touch. Impressed with the service.

@Plusnet Whilst your IMAP servers have never worked well they're really bad now. Thunderbird on 2 PCs (one Windows 10, the other Linux) each with different accounts unable to fetch new email since 25 September. TCP timeout upped to 600 but server keeps disconnecting.

@Plusnet Hi Emily. I don't use wired connections, I never have. And I've never had inconsistency this extreme from any other provider. It's the inconsistency - the massive peaks & troughs - that's more of a problem. I could live with slower speeds if they were constant.
