  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

@Plusnet Woeful customer service. My bill jumps from £28.50pm to £41.59pm, and your retention team tells me the only way I can get the deal online is to leave, go without internet for 30 days, and then pay a connection fee again. I once recommended you to everyone. What a joke.

  • ben_lister Ben Lister (@ben_lister) reported

Plusnet: Hi Ben, sorry for the delay in replying to you. Unfortunately cancellation is one of the few things we can't support with via this support channel. I see you have already tried but I'd recommend giving our Cancellations Team another call.

  • GaryTaylor63 Gary Taylor (@GaryTaylor63) reported

@Plusnet Can you help me I've been trying to report a problem with my broadband but I can't get through on the phone.

  • Brereton1113 T.C. 🇬🇧♌🥋⚓MHFA. I don't suffer fools! (@Brereton1113) reported

Amazing. 1. Got a letter from Virgin Media, saying my broadband at £40 per month is going up by nearly 10%. 2. Kids have flown the nest, so only need slow bb now. 3. Shopped around, found good deal with Plusnet. 4. Notified Virgin who couldn't match them, so gave notice..

  • donjuan72FTM Don waterworth (@donjuan72FTM) reported

@Plusnet can anyone reply to my tweet regarding my Internet connection....its been down for 3 days

  • paulmutton Paul Mutton (@paulmutton) reported

Thanks for everyone's help, as I'm not sure what finally did it, but after a week of DMing, tweeting, emailing and phoning Plusnet, I've eventually been introduced to their cyber security manager so I can demonstrate my concerns about their router security (after I finish work!)

  • HelenTursner Helen Tursner (@HelenTursner) reported

@plusnethelp can you please respond to my DM from 30th January in regards to not meeting your minimum guaranteed broadband speeds?! @Plusnet starting to regret being a returning customer!

  • ben_lister Ben Lister (@ben_lister) reported

Alternatively, a request to cancel the service can also be sent via post to: Plusnet plc ... S1 2GU. It is recommended that for your own peace of mind, any letter containing a cancellation request for cease of service is sent by recorded delivery.

  • zbnet Kevin Ball (@zbnet) reported

@kelechi_okegbe I'm with @plusnet - they are really bad at any changes (starting the contract, upgrades etc), but once it's all set up it works reliably and the prices are reasonable.

  • SANDRAH80018976 Rycroft Leisure (@SANDRAH80018976) reported

I have been with Plusnet for quite a number of years, now I have a problem with broadband dropping out 3 to 4 times a day I hang on for up to 1 hr a day trying to get through, I have also emailed, but no one ever gets back, I will not be renewing again.
