@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

@Plusnet this is ridiculous now. Still no emails. No updates. Not exactly the excellent service you promise on your adverts! It’s now 13hrs that I’m personally aware of since this issue started.

@PlusNet - any hint as to what the problem with email actually is?

@Plusnet No emails all day. Service Status promised further update at 12pm - didn't happen. Further promise - given post 1pm - of update at 1.45pm. At 1.50pm, amended to 2.30pm. However difficult the problem, this lackadaisical attitude to customer comms really isn't good enough

@Plusnet I accept that it is a trying time and that you are working hard to rectify the email problem BUT when you say that the next update will be at noon and it’s now 12:42 and it hasn’t been updated, can you understand how frustration builds?
