  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • ThinkingBlue Zos (@ThinkingBlue) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@Plusnet I don't know how many more calls I can make that go unanswered. How many more times in a day my router needs reset. I'm paying for internet that doesn't work nor help that never comes

  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • brownsandra1962 Sandyb (@brownsandra1962) reported

@Plusnet I had an engineer out a few weeks ago and he found no problems with the wiring or socket, the socket was newly installed just last year. He said it was the router. After speaking with someone at plusnet they managed to get me back connected via correcting my username.

  • tris20 MadTris89 (@tris20) reported

@Plusnet my WiFi has gone down, is there an issue in the ne61 area? not seeing anything on the service status to reflect this.

  • ElliotP1998 Ell (@ElliotP1998) reported

@Plusnet Hi. I’ve had lots of issues with speed and disconnecting broadband over the last two weeks. Is there any tests I can run to work out what’s going wrong?

  • SapSacPrime Chris (@SapSacPrime) reported

@Plusnet my broadband isn't working this morning and going on your forum it seems I'm not alone, why does your service status not reflect this?

  • minnie12000 Niamh (@minnie12000) reported

@Plusnet Ten years ago, my parents (who are now pensioners) joined Plusnet and today they will be leaving. They’ve inadvertently signed up to a contract they can’t keep up with. Unfortunately nothing customer services can do, very disappointing for loyal customer.

  • neilmuirhead1 Neil Muirhead (@neilmuirhead1) reported

@scouseblue48 No mate Plusnet, I've told them ,they've been the worst provider I've ever had, they do though now think it might actually be a faulty router. Said they'd replace it if needed

  • briangamet Brian Gamet (@briangamet) reported

@Plusnet - please improve your system. 2 SIM cards failed to arrive and you won’t send it to another address because the computer says no! Being told what to do by machines! Please give your people the authority to just think for themselves and provide better customer service!

  • SaltireLady SaltireLady (@SaltireLady) reported

@Plusnet Ok honest mistake cutting my service off 2 weeks early! However how long will BB re-activation take? I’m home working due to pandemic yet can’t work this morning?

  • benvolante Ben (@benvolante) reported

@Plusnet can you sort your network out please! My internet has dropped out more times than I’ve had hot dinners. Looking around seems to be a common theme with customers when they hit the 6 month mark of being a customer.

  • brucelharper Bruce Harper (@brucelharper) reported

@ste4kngr4vy I have tried various over the years and Plusnet would be the best, in my opinion, if low cost and quality are what you want. Although their service has deteriorated recently imo Avoid EE like the plague.
