@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • gemmacaddell86 Gem (@gemmacaddell86) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • ThinkingBlue Zos (@ThinkingBlue) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@Plusnet I don't know how many more calls I can make that go unanswered. How many more times in a day my router needs reset. I'm paying for internet that doesn't work nor help that never comes

@Plusnet promised to call me back to update me further and here I am chasing them and being subjected to their crap music blasting in my ear whilst I wait in queue.

@jetlbomb If you don't want Virgin Media then you're stuck with the suppliers who us Openreach. The physical line will be the same, you're basically comparing on customer service and price. Plusnet business are good but don't offer full fibre, Zen Business is good, avoid BT business

  • hannna_14 hanna (@hannna_14) reported

@Plusnet please can someone offer some advice on a problem

  • DOOGY43543492 DOOGY (@DOOGY43543492) reported

@Suzanne14606600 @Plusnet @WeAreOpenreach I suggest that you get in touch with OFCOM TO COMPLAIN about your internet service provider and about OPENREACH as they are just as responsible who don’t care about the elderly but then it’s a LONDON BASED COMPANY who only care about taking people’s money and doing F.A

It's so bad that even Broadband Speed Checker simply doesn't work. We've had PlusNet engineers out twice and both times they've checked that the internal stuff works (which it does) and so the problem is external. Can you get an engineer to look at the box? Nope.

  • mysteriousgal mysteriousgal (@mysteriousgal) reported

@Plusnet The fraud team told me at the time the credit search would be removed from my credit file - that was in July - its now November and the search is still there. No one seems to every answer on the phone number i was given to contact. Please help get this removed from my file

  • sketchseven chris 💉 x 3 (@sketchseven) reported

Absolutely useless @Plusnet service in my area right now. Forgot downloading a film you own through Apple TV or playing an online game - huge ping spikes, massive packet loss, while also being incredibly inconsistent.

  • littlerich27 richie lennon (@littlerich27) reported

@Plusnet The range of your WiFi is awful. I have to reset my modem on a daily basis. Awful WiFi. It really is.

  • flunny907 Finessa Wallace (@flunny907) reported

@Plusnet Of course I need my internet fixed because to leave you I have to pay the full two years of bills even though you were NEVER able to connect me. 21st August this started but 3 weeks tomorrow of no internet/broadband.....all thanks to you

  • postscriptphoto Paul Sutton (@postscriptphoto) reported

@Plusnet terrible experience trying to get your broadband into our new house. Misinformation followed internal errors at Plusnet cause major delays. I need BB for remote working, spent my first week in a hotel (at my expense) ... wonder if you're prepared to reimburse? Doubt it.
