  • annief1 Anne 🌻💙💛 (@annief1) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice I would also like to point out. The staff really should make people aware of this. The assistant (female) not the older lady, is rude too. I don't live here but my daughter in law does, and assistant is always rude.

  • millennial_tom Tom Sargeant (@millennial_tom) reported from Reading, England

@WHSmith @PostOffice I am at the @PostOffice now trying to work out what is going on. Kudos for responding. They say they can’t help in any way.

  • PeterBa82304711 Peter Baker, MA. 🇬🇧 🇮🇱 🇺🇦 #IranProtests2022 (@PeterBa82304711) reported from Reading, England

@leckston Admittedly it's not the business itself that's causing rhe disruption to mail services but I agree that #RoyalMail & it's #PostOffice arm haven't really acted like the official mail service for many a year. Maybe it is time the lost the 'Royal' prefix status. @10DowningStreet

  • millennial_tom Tom Sargeant (@millennial_tom) reported from Reading, England

@Cremedevape @PostOffice @WHSmith @parcelforce @RoyalMailHelp Absolute comedy of errors going on here. I wouldn’t mind much, except this was a really important package to me!

  • Neeknowsbest Kim (@Neeknowsbest) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice Took some old notes to local main Post Office to be told you no longer exchange them, or allow them to be paid into bank account. No wonder Post offices are closing all the time. No longer offering a service to the community.

  • Munzhedzi_Muk Ngwaniwapo (@Munzhedzi_Muk) reported from Reading, England

@LilywhiteSimon @PostOffice Damn. Thats disappointing, I think royal mail requires this invoice when claiming cos they know you aint getting it, ever.

  • smnthklly 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑎 ⚜️ (@smnthklly) reported from Reading, England

Omg I do a manifest every time and my parcels never get processed or processed incorrectly and then I’m left in a state wondering where the rest are until I can contact the PO again.. I even highlight on the manifest @PostOffice what happens if a sack of parcels goes missing?

  • Jennifer_Cowton Jennifer Cowton (@Jennifer_Cowton) reported from Bracknell, England

@PostOffice no service in #bracknell #moneyexxhange now as lady is “on a break” eating her lunch at the desk #shockingservice

  • FionaLegal Fiona Anderson (@FionaLegal) reported from Wokingham, England

Thanks very much Roger Gale of the @PostOffice - great business acumen. How pleased he must be with himself for getting rid of well known staff, a decent post office and a decent service to replace it with bargain basement b.s. of a "post office" with nowhere to pick up parcels!

  • RockBoxRecords The Rock Box Record Store (@RockBoxRecords) reported from Camberley, England

@101andyhibberd @PostOffice @farnhamherald To make you feel better Andy, same situation in Camberley today. Self services machine not working, 2 tills and 12 people in queue. Oh & one till then closed after serving 1 of 12 to cash up or something. 20 minutes later......

  • adric_warth Adric Warth (@adric_warth) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice I spoke to The staff at WH Smith where the post office is located & they were surprised when they closed at 1. I then went to the Royal Mail depot to see if they could help & they weren’t even aware that it had closed at 1, as far as they knew it was still open

  • annief1 Anne (@annief1) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice Thank you. I have worked for a PO, I used to run one in the 90s. . I am also trained in Customer care. There is nothing wrong with chatting at work. But the customer comes first. You don't chat to another colleague, about something irrelevant whilst serving. Thank you.

  • annief1 Anne 🌻💙💛 (@annief1) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice I posted a normal package 3rd December and its still not arrived. 😱. Apparently many have had a problem, with this date. So lady in Didcot / coop p/O said.

  • millennial_tom Tom Sargeant (@millennial_tom) reported from Reading, England

So @parcelforce say they can’t do anything because I handed my parcel in @PostOffice who subsequently incorrectly gave it to @RoyalMail. In fact the only team who seem to give a damn are @WHSmith where the @PostOffice are located!

  • PeterBa82304711 Peter Baker, MA. 🇬🇧 🇮🇱 #NUFC 'till I die ! (@PeterBa82304711) reported from Reading, England

@johnredwood @YvetteHenson 1/2 And why did the #PostOffice & #Fujitsu ignore &/or hide the fact that there were significant problems with said it system, preferring instead to shift the blame onto totally innocent people ? At least one of whom was told not to mention the system in legal/proceedings/Court !

  • lornypop Lorna Hicks (@lornypop) reported from Wokingham, England

    AVOID #BYFLEET #POSTOFFICE #rude #unproffesional #tradingstandards being informed!!

  • CamberleyDan Dan Adams (@CamberleyDan) reported from Camberley, England

The new Camberley @PostOffice rules of only being allowed to use self service machines surely will cause some difficulties for some members of the community

  • tommyhozza tom horrox (@tommyhozza) reported from Finchampstead, England

@joshjay1969 @RoyalMail You might want to tag @PostOffice as @RoyalMail is a different company... "my golf just broke down... damn you vauxhall" 🤣

  • annief1 Anne (@annief1) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice Absolutely appalling customer service, IN Didcot PO today. The one inside Whsmith. .. Serving me and discussing the Christmas Party they can't, have with colleague! Always time for this after but not during service. Customers come first. 😱. #postoffice

  • adric_warth Adric Warth (@adric_warth) reported from Didcot, England

@PostOffice I feel really really let down & will be lodging a complaint. Please can you provide the phone number for you complaints department

  • MarkOwenlloyd Mark Owen-Lloyd (@MarkOwenlloyd) reported

The Post Office scandal is terrifying, the human misery and injustice inflicted by a state institution. Why has nobody at the @PostOffice had their collar felt? Hundreds of lives ruined - and they knew the software was faulty. Awful.

  • The_Swell_Shark Tim B. (@The_Swell_Shark) reported

Just been reading up on this #postmaster case on the BBC website. Fair to say @PostOffice you are an absolute **** show and frankly should be ashamed of yourselves. Sending innocent people to jail for nothing & the hurt all concerned incl. Friends and family is appalling 1/

  • covid_concerned concerned-covid (@covid_concerned) reported

@PostOffice kind of you to reply so quickly and I certainly appreciate that, but in the modern age there is little excuse. Not enuf workers? Employ more. Why aren’t the staff who are not working in Ballynahinch moved to Crossgar & vice versa? The garage is open to 11, how’s that reduced?

  • Jamie59841060 Jamie (@Jamie59841060) reported

What the Post Office has done to those poor people is disgusting. I hope they get compensation #postoffice #granadareports

  • LipspeakerLinzi Linzi Weatherson 🖤🏳️‍🌈 (@LipspeakerLinzi) reported

Thinking of the 42 postmasters in Court today. To be accused of stealing, convicted of theft & in some cases put in prison because of a faulty IT system is just awful! Shame on you @PostOffice - you’ve already paid £58m in compensation, are we the public going to pay for this? 📮

  • AndrewRPines Andrew Pines (@AndrewRPines) reported from Camberwell, England

So sad and angry for those good people who have suffered at the hands of @PostOffice #PostOfficeScandal and @fujitsu_uk. It’s time these corrupt organisations who blame their errors on other and held to account. #timeforaction. Know that #justicewillprevail

  • ChrisMuteham Chris Muteham (@ChrisMuteham) reported

@DVLAgovuk A quick update on this. DVLA still blaming @postoffice, the post office blaming DVLA, neither try to solve the issue. So I've got to wait 6-8 weeks for DVLA to look at a form and cash a cheque! #digitalprogress #whyispayingmymoneysohard

  • IankerrS iankerr_science (@IankerrS) reported

hope today that post office managers will have their convictions for fraud overturned. Lives were ruined and may never be repaired by @PostOffice Horizon computer scandal. A horrific example of corporate Goliath trying to destroy hundreds of "Davids" #PostOfficeScandal

  • Ryan_Minchin Ryan Minchin (@Ryan_Minchin) reported

@AtlanticFyoo @PostOffice Those poor people whose lives and livelihoods were ruined. And the Post Office fought tooth and nail to cover it up, knowing that people had been sent to prison undeservedly. The entire episode is disgusting.
