Thanks very much Roger Gale of the @PostOffice - great business acumen. How pleased he must be with himself for getting rid of well known staff, a decent post office and a decent service to replace it with bargain basement b.s. of a "post office" with nowhere to pick up parcels!

Eventually the other self service till was fixed. From what I could gather, it just had to be turned on. Why not turn both on in the morning, I don’t know. Who knew that putting @PostOffice’s into the worst shop on the High Street, @WHSmith, would mean it would all go to shit...

So @parcelforce say they can’t do anything because I handed my parcel in @PostOffice who subsequently incorrectly gave it to @RoyalMail. In fact the only team who seem to give a damn are @WHSmith where the @PostOffice are located!

Turns out the @WHSmith staff cant actually SEE the self service tills, because of the way Smiths and @PostOffice have laid out the store. So theyll never know when people need parcels collecting from the machine. So self service Custs have to up to the tills. Which have a queue

@Napaaqtuk Was at PostOffice on my way out. a farmer was on his way in but had forgotten his mask. Went back to his car and was searching. I rolled down my window and asked if he wanted one (we keep spare new ones in the car). He said thx so much - saved me a 20km round trip! #BeKind
