Omg I do a manifest every time and my parcels never get processed or processed incorrectly and then I’m left in a state wondering where the rest are until I can contact the PO again.. I even highlight on the manifest @PostOffice what happens if a sack of parcels goes missing?

  • millennial_tom
Tom Sargeant (@millennial_tom) reported from Reading, England

@WHSmith @PostOffice I am at the @PostOffice now trying to work out what is going on. Kudos for responding. They say they can’t help in any way.

  • ghostofgoose5
Ghost of Goose (@ghostofgoose5) reported from Slough, England

@shoba_31 @RoyalMail @PostOffice You will only get second class post every other day & never on a Saturday moving forward. Not much different to now really. I get a lot of post but I can do days without a delivery then a pile turns up all at once.

  • PropPersonnel
Anthony Hesse (@PropPersonnel) reported from Egham, England

@PostOffice Stephen, this was not a one off. The staff are very pleasant, just never enough of them. Since moved from the original stand alone site, the service has only gone backwards I'm afraid.

  • RockBoxRecords
The Rock Box Record Store (@RockBoxRecords) reported from Camberley, England

@101andyhibberd @PostOffice @farnhamherald To make you feel better Andy, same situation in Camberley today. Self services machine not working, 2 tills and 12 people in queue. Oh & one till then closed after serving 1 of 12 to cash up or something. 20 minutes later......

  • tommyhozza
tom horrox (@tommyhozza) reported from Finchampstead, England

@joshjay1969 @RoyalMail You might want to tag @PostOffice as @RoyalMail is a different company... "my golf just broke down... damn you vauxhall" 🤣

  • millennial_tom
Tom Sargeant (@millennial_tom) reported from Reading, England

So @parcelforce say they can’t do anything because I handed my parcel in @PostOffice who subsequently incorrectly gave it to @RoyalMail. In fact the only team who seem to give a damn are @WHSmith where the @PostOffice are located!

  • CamberleyDan
Dan Adams (@CamberleyDan) reported from Camberley, England

The new Camberley @PostOffice rules of only being allowed to use self service machines surely will cause some difficulties for some members of the community

  • lornypop
Lorna Hicks (@lornypop) reported from Wokingham, England

    AVOID #BYFLEET #POSTOFFICE #rude #unproffesional #tradingstandards being informed!!

  • Munzhedzi_Muk

@LilywhiteSimon @PostOffice Damn. Thats disappointing, I think royal mail requires this invoice when claiming cos they know you aint getting it, ever.

    Peter Baker, MA. 🇬🇧 🇮🇱 🇺🇦 #IranProtests2022 (@PeterBa82304711) reported from Reading, England

@leckston Admittedly it's not the business itself that's causing rhe disruption to mail services but I agree that #RoyalMail & it's #PostOffice arm haven't really acted like the official mail service for many a year. Maybe it is time the lost the 'Royal' prefix status. @10DowningStreet

  • Jennifer_Cowton
Jennifer Cowton (@Jennifer_Cowton) reported from Bracknell, England

@PostOffice no service in #bracknell #moneyexxhange now as lady is “on a break” eating her lunch at the desk #shockingservice

  • PeterBa82304711
Peter Baker, MA. 🇬🇧 🇮🇱 #NUFC 'till I die ! (@PeterBa82304711) reported from Reading, England

@johnredwood @YvetteHenson 1/2 And why did the #PostOffice & #Fujitsu ignore &/or hide the fact that there were significant problems with said it system, preferring instead to shift the blame onto totally innocent people ? At least one of whom was told not to mention the system in legal/proceedings/Court !

  • FionaLegal
Fiona Anderson (@FionaLegal) reported from Wokingham, England

Thanks very much Roger Gale of the @PostOffice - great business acumen. How pleased he must be with himself for getting rid of well known staff, a decent post office and a decent service to replace it with bargain basement b.s. of a "post office" with nowhere to pick up parcels!

  • millennial_tom
Tom Sargeant (@millennial_tom) reported from Reading, England

@Cremedevape @PostOffice @WHSmith @parcelforce @RoyalMailHelp Absolute comedy of errors going on here. I wouldn’t mind much, except this was a really important package to me!

    Artur Nadolny (@ArturNadol7566) reported

POST OFFICE JAILED AN INNOCENT WOMAN Imagine. You run a small @PostOffice in Hull. You show up every day, you serve your community, you do the job. Then one day a computer program called Horizon decides you owe £59,000 that never existed. A computer program with a known glitch problem. Post Office didn't check the software. It just marched Janet Skinner into court in 2007 and got her jailed for 9 months. She served 2 behind bars. She lost her house. She lost her job. She lost her name in the eyes of her own neighbours, all because nobody in a position of power fancied questioning a machine. Here's where any decent organisation would stop digging the hole ... The Post Office kept digging. A year after she walked out of prison, they hauled her back into court again, this time chasing her for "proceeds of crime." Proceeds of a crime she never committed, calculated by a system that couldn't add up in the first place. Bold strategy from the people who broke the calculator in the first place. Less than two weeks after that fresh nightmare finally ended, Janet's body gave out completely. Neurological collapse. Paralysed from the neck down. Doctors told her she'd never walk again. She spent a year in a wheelchair and two years learning to walk. She says her own immune system turned on her. Years of fighting a system that refused to admit fault, and in the end it was her own body that surrendered first. So how does this story end? With an apology? A cheque that actually matches what she lost? Of course not. In 2025, after everything, the compensation scheme handed her an offer worth around 15% of her claim. Janet called it an insult. I'd call it a joke, except nobody's laughing, least of all the people who wrote the offer letter from the comfort of a job that still exists. 9 months in prison for a bug. 2 years in a wheelchair for the stress of proving her innocence. A payout that wouldn't cover the damage to her health, let alone her life. And somewhere, the people who signed off on her prosecution are still drawing a pension. This is not a scandal that happened once. It is a system that keeps happening, on repeat, to real people, while everyone responsible gets to retire quietly. Nobody who signed off on any of this has lost a house, a job, or a night's sleep. They got promotions. She got a wheelchair and an insulting cheque. Accountability had every chance to show up here and chose not to.. SOURCES @BBCNews @itvnews and others.

@ArturNadol7566 @PostOffice Everyone involved in this poor man’s demise needs to hang their heads in shame for the remainder of their lives. No excuses for not, given just how many other postmasters have even now not yet received their due compensation to reflect their tragically annhilated lives since.

  • MrsDLewis_NW
Debbie Lewis @ NatWest (@MrsDLewis_NW) reported

@PostOffice how can I arrange a redirection if the new address isn’t found on your options list please? No option to edit (other numbers exist but not ours) and no help options exist?

  • iamonabeach
    -on a beach- (@iamonabeach) reported

@Fintolini @paddyb_ireland @PostOffice Thing is, why buy foreign currency at the Post Office? Their rates are awful. Just get yourself an fx card, such as Revolut or Wise.

  • joyceshorrocko1
    monket (@joyceshorrocko1) reported

@PostOffice I post a parcel, you track it and tell me you have taken it to the wrong place. God knows why. You have no idea. No update. I call you. No update. No parcel. It's the epitome of dreadful service. Can't you do better? Clearly not.

  • Neil_McIntosh
    Neil McIntosh (@Neil_McIntosh) reported

Ed Davey should be investigated and if found a case should be pursued against him regarding his treacherous support of @PostOffice persecution of #Subpostmasters #PostOfficeScandal #HorizonScandal

  • redpenrog
    dodger (@redpenrog) reported

Voters must have an inquiry into why Ed Davey did nothing as minister in charge of the Postoffice , whilst the numerous poor postoffice managers were being accused and in some cases charged . It was clear for someone close to the process, something was clearly wrong .

  • nedstar68

Remind me never to avoid anyone using @parcelforce to deliver my parcels. Didn’t leave a card, didn’t take to the @PostOffice as requested and after 3 half hour waits to get through, still can’t manage to arrange to deliver. Useless!

  • Happydays2025

@ArturNadol7566 @PostOffice Beyond words, what a terrible, terrible thing to do to innocent people. Someone surely must be held properly accountable.
