Thanks very much Roger Gale of the @PostOffice - great business acumen. How pleased he must be with himself for getting rid of well known staff, a decent post office and a decent service to replace it with bargain basement b.s. of a "post office" with nowhere to pick up parcels!

@PostOffice the post office Lewisham is a farce. Hardly any staff, long queues, little help and massively over complicated touch screen self service tills just to make a simple parcel postage. Ridiculous.

@Ezeetruth @PostOffice @DarkCarpet In my life and most gay peoples’ life, every day. But if you want examples of people receiving physical/verbal abuse for holding their boyfriend’s hand in public, go to google. Search in Twitter. It won’t take long - I’m not your damn researcher.

@siany_d @PostOffice @ClaireEWebb Because a) some WILL buy other things b) the post office see physical cash as important so offering a change service supports its use. Or maybe they talk about supporting its use, but don't back it with any significant action?

@LBCNews How the hell can this still be going on. It's way past time to clear and apologise to all those prosecuted, and to give them financial recompense. How can this still be continuing? It's over 10 years of persecution by the worst kind of no-face, corporate thugs. @PostOffice

@siany_d @PostOffice @ClaireEWebb Increase footfall and then you sell more things. Fairly common tactic in retail. Either way, it's cheap words to say they support something and then literally don't support it in any meaningful sense.

@michaelbranniga @GustavG08869512 @PostOffice Corporations are still with in the system using the rules to there advantage we need to shut down the loopholes it’s a diffrent kind of not paying tax to just not declaring earnings by using cash, both are issues but we was talking about cash here
-
Siân Davis
(@siany_d) reported
@TheDonOfSorare @PostOffice @ClaireEWebb A) the vast majority do not B) if people keep expecting favours there will be no post office to support the use of cash The post office is a business not a charity
-
The Don
(@TheDonOfSorare) reported
@siany_d @PostOffice @ClaireEWebb Well we do not know the % they won't spend so that's conjecture either way. Could be 1%, could be 20%. But we agree it increases footfall so that's good. They say they support its use but don't back it up with anything other than a petition. Someone else's problem I guess.
