julian (@Julian2017124) reported@PostOffice have now rejected my appeal (CAS-4635853-Q1P0W7) regarding the abuse I experienced at the Camberwell branch. After my FOI revealed 96 complaints in just 5 years at that single branch with a shocking 61.5% tactical closure rate they still refuse to uphold my complaint or even give a proper apology. They’re clearly gatekeeping the branch to keep it open, and this level of customer mistreatment is completely unacceptable in 2026. Post Office Management need to realise: I’m not going to let this go away until a reasonable resolution has been made. My next step is to take it to an independent body. However, @PostOffice still hasn’t informed me whether they’re part of any Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme or process something they are required to do. I’ve already referred the matter to Trading Standards and requested all records under GDPR. The fight continues. #PostOffice #CamberwellPostOffice

invs86 (@DeviousPL) reported@19user84 @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice It’s not Royal Mail, it’s the Post Office. They seem to think they can charge more for the service for some reason, so if you buy it yourself through RM it’s cheaper.
-
m (@uddersfeeled) reported@PostOffice @PostOffice they are no help whatsoever- absolutely appalling customer service, I’m having to raise a complaint via the ombudsman because I’m getting nowhere with the claims team - managers are NEVER available to speak to, they can’t put me through to the claims assessor
-
🏍 LynneG #2 (👻 of Mike R., d.2022) (@BalladeerMike) reported@paulgilly @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Bad news for P.O. employees though.
-
Crybaton (@crybaton) reported@AnimarchyYT so, Genuine question, because I keep seeing this and those "lawnpirate" situations in the US... Do your delivery people just leave your **** at the door? Like, is this the norm? Because here, when I'm not home, I get a little note in my postbox to pickup my **** at the postoffice

коржики Батурин 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 (@brialerus) reported@kevinburden @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Thats bad. For me personally I have sent about 200+ items and collection has always been on time.
-
peoplearestupid77 (@pplrstupid977) reported@PuzzledOfBerks @PostOffice Thats not a service that Post Office provides. Counters do not get paid to change notes into coins. We reserve this service for our business customers who have change giving cards and do pay for it.
-
Dave Lunn (@DaveLunn68) reported@PostOffice @tgjonesuk None of the self service machines working in your branch in Sutton and only one till open!
-
Tracey (@Traceyjp) reported@brialerus @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice It was better when it was free but I still use the service and pay the 30p. Saves time, petrol money and the junk food purchases when I go to the shop which has a PO counter

julian (@Julian2017124) reportedJust received this reply from @PostOffice (Charlotte) however interestingly given me a new complaint number (CAS-4652456-F5T0K2). They’ve only acknowledged receipt and say a Complaint Handler will be assigned within 15 working days. Until then, further replies won’t be monitored. What’s funny though is this came through just 15 minutes after I tweeted about the situation, I tweeted last one at 8:37am they sent the email at 8:52 am! Coincidence or not, the timing is interesting. All my other email was for not to dispute the appeal decision but request for a fuller explanation of the appeal outcome so it’s interesting that request is being treated as a brand new complaint, and also other part of that request was asking for information if they’re part of a ADR and the contact details, but when I clearly provided the original case number (CAS-4564626-W1G1F8) With 96 complaints as I say in 5 years at Camberwell branch (61.5% tactically closed), this slow, dismissive process is exactly why people lose faith. And I know @PostOffice sees my tweets. It’s time @PostOffice up their game. Either resolve this properly with a reasonable solution and apology, or respect my rights including my right to full transparency and the right to escalate this to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme. Why should I have to accept someone getting away with verbal abuse? No justice whatsoever. Otherwise, we’re just going to continue this very public spat for as long as it takes. The choice is yours. #PostOffice #CamberwellPostOffice
