D (@Therealdonnab42) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK My mum gave me permission to speak to them & it took around 2 weeks to resolve. They admitted it was insensitive, poor judgement & customer service given circumstances. Contract was cancelled with no penalty & mum rec’d compensation as a goodwill gesture.
-
Fiona_tweet (@fionahtweet) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK She probably my has a 14 day cooling off period. Cancel
-
Dasha (@DashaLdn) reported@skyuk continued to take money out my account without service, said they will refund . Until today nothing. No calls. Every time I call, they say the other person agreed to terms that’s incorrect.

Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK An older lady I know lost her husband about 2 years ago. Recently I discovered that she was still paying for the package including Sky Sports, which she had never watched once since he died. I rang Sky with her and they insisted she should give the 30 days notice to cancel it!
-
Nike Ralph (@MjelkRen) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK Why would you even pay for that legacy garbage “television” tho. The internet exists!
-
Julie Ivers (@jiver66) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK ****** are they still doing that? I helped an elderly lady over 15yrs ago fight against Sky for the same reason! I've personally never had and never will have a Sky subscription, they're rip off merchants in my eyes. Heck I don't even watch TV any more, don't have one.
-
JustJ Parody account😉 (@imjustbeingmeJ) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK £170????? Is she paying for her neighbours too? That's despicable. My MIL signed up for two @SunLife policies, has paid over £10k in, will get about £4k back. They won't listen to our argument about her dementia, won't pause the payments and if we cancel she'll lose it all..
-
StrawberryTrifle (@SupportReformUK) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK I believe you have a cooling off period to cancel….so she needs to be quick.
-
Tony Robinson (@TonyRob70579912) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK Why is anyone, of any age, paying in excess of £100 a month for a TV channel service? Completely nuts.
-
Danny King (@OrigLD) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK WTF are you paying £110 for?
