@SkyUK So if you are in a middle of watching live football and the WiFi goes down you can only watch free to air channels by connecting an aerial?

  • WTbuffs07 Geoff Lowry (@WTbuffs07) reported

@randomoneh @SpursOfficial @SkyUK You could learn to mind your own damn business. How about that, Skippy?

  • another07047584 anotherme (@another07047584) reported

@Tac0caTt @_XRP__ @SkyUK You should not need new hardware (box or TV) to access a streaming service. This is just silly. Smart TVs are everywhere… all they need is an app, not this POS TV.

  • 1kevin010 Kevin (@1kevin010) reported

@SkyUK Can that broadband be from another supplier, as sky speed where I am is poor !

  • another07047584 anotherme (@another07047584) reported

@JontyEvans @SkyUK It’s making people replace TVs to be able ton stream sky. This is bad for the environment and totallly unnecessary. Further you need a ‘puck’ to multi screen. Totally backward… smart TVs already have tech to do what Sky Glass does. This is just wasteful.

  • mastersdog master p (@mastersdog) reported

Just heard about #skyglass @SkyHelpTeam . I’m dreading it coz our #skybroadband is bad. Broadband is ok in the South but up North here it’s not

  • _DavidDarko_ David Darko (@_DavidDarko_) reported

@SkyUK Hi, diamond customer here. Do you have the gaming spec capabilities of the tv ? Input lag rate and is it 120hz ?

  • MrPA Peter Adams (@MrPA) reported

Need advice. Now more than a fortnight since Sky promised internet in my new home. @SkyHelpTeam lovely, but slow progress and comms from @WeAreOpenreach. Think I might be able to get Virgin in days, but have read bad things about Virgin reliability. Any advice/experience?

  • another07047584 anotherme (@another07047584) reported

@SkyUK @Chuxx1986 Indeed, iPads are great. This sky glass thing is just backward. Just do an app sky … in 2021 you should not need new hardware to access a streaming service.

  • another07047584 anotherme (@another07047584) reported

@anon126541 @JontyEvans @SkyUK It’s bad for the planet - to stream sky you need to replace your TV It means you need to buy a substandard sky TV rather than a better one you already may have. It forces hardware for multi room, when most TVs these days are already smart. Why all this nonsense? Just do an app
