@SkyNews This echo’s what a lot said when Premier League was formed with help from Sky appearing to leave Football League high & dry. If @SkySports pick up any media crumbs from this table will Gary refuse the punditry gig? #europeansuperleague #ESL

I am dead against this **** idea of a superleague, but the hypocrisy of the likes of @SkySports & @btsportfootball & numerous pundits is doing my head in. You don't listen to fans anyway. Look at var, you are ruining the game regardless. **** you all. #LFC

If @SkySports and @btsportfootball wish to demonstrate their support for ordinary football fans in the midst of this #europeansuperleague nonsense, how about making their @premierleague output free to air for the rest of 2021? Because all this pontificating feels a bit hollow.

@IMOBAZCBATV @Brock_FC @SkySports Yeah I agree those in service are grossly underpaid .. but we all know entertainment will always pay the best regardless or ethics.

@JeffStelling Agreed Jeff. Meanwhile, will @SkySports stay clear of this? They have been part of the commodification of elite football. As a Spurs fan, this isn't just worse than never winning a league, or losing the Champion's League Final. It's worse than relegation in 1977.

@GNev2 Can you explain how this “shafts” the fans? All clubs want to remain in domestic leagues, we get elite games weekly and more money into the game that could filter down.. It’s not like @SkySports who have priced fans out of watching and list KOs at times that fans can’t get home

@SkySports @btsport Please release a statement today confirming you will not support or televise any European Super League. That would simply put an end to this nonsense.

@IMOBAZCBATV @Brock_FC @SkySports In the ring on the night rarely it’s the long term effects. But going back to the super league I got a horrible feeling West Ham will sign up sooner than we think.

@IMOBAZCBATV @Brock_FC @SkySports If you look after the injuries sustained after their career is over .. the damage boxers receive for our entertainment is nuts. Plus it is so hard to get to those million pound money fights. I don’t disagree with your own overall argument though.
