The club made a derisory offer and so he left on a free. We have always been cursed with crap owners.

Wayne Rooney was a consumate professional, and he won more titles at United than Roy. Still the club's highest goalscorer to date. He doesn't go about running his mouth because of that, and you will struggle to find a single United fan dissing him.
