I could share screenshot after screenshot of the painful conversations I’ve been having with the ‘customer support team’ via DM and I feel like I’m just getting template replies that are nowhere near solving the problem.

@TalkTalk we upgraded our broadband at the end of may. There was also a fault with the phone line. A guy from openreach came and fixed it, however the phone line is dead again. Can you help?

Amazing service from @TalkTalk. Two weeks ago told them my router was broken, they said a new one would be with me in 2 days! Two weeks later find out they never processed the order so will have to wait an extra 5 days!! #getin 🤙🏻🤙🏻

@RSdriver00 @TalkTalk I wish I could say the same they are shocking and I have resorted to a hand written letter to see if that gives me any resolve. They have been useless and not fixed the problems and I’m still being charged for a service I’m not getting.

@TalkTalk Can I suggest you read all the notes that must be on her account before anyone gets in touch again. Mum is completely fed up with the same basic questions and the same response that an engineer comes and says that it is an exchange problem. Then nothing gets done.

I just earned the "staying active" badge on the @TalkTalk support forums. If they didn't have router firmware that doesn't support VPN, upgraded it to fix, then randomly rolled it back again a month later without any notification, I wouldn't be on their forums in the first place.

Anyone considering getting broadband from @TalkTalk Run for the hills and do not go with them! Their customer service agents lie, they do not follow appropriate sales rules and do not take complaints seriously.

@TalkTalk It was too late I'm afraid, someone I spoke to on call escalated before handing me to retentions and manager as requested, by the time I spoke to someone who listened it was too late to fix.
