@Louise_Lamb @TalkTalk Had this same issue with them. 3 months of paying for basically no internet, I had to use my phone data when I had to work from home. Absolute dog shit.Quick tip tho, they have a policy that after 28 days of reporting a problem and it not being solved, you can leave without gees.

@TalkTalk I've sent an email complaint regarding my cancellation on Monday 18th January and I've not yet had a response. And I'm continuing to get overdue bill reminders, despite me cancelling at the beginning of December. I owe nothing more than what I have paid to date.

@TalkTalk I have waited for 2 days to get broadband installed. BT openreach engineer untrained and without equipment 1st time. 2nd time no show. Now have someone coming, or not, between 8 and 1 tomorrow. Saturday! Poor communication. Even poorer service.

@TalkTalk It’s not even that it’s slow. I could cope with slow. I have had 5 days in which the whole afternoon or whole day I have had no WiFi - working from home without WiFi is impossible and this is unacceptable now

@Schmoozer74 @TalkTalk @OpenreachHelp Its overselling - The local exchange is capable of MANY GB's of data - Your router will most likely support upwards of 1GB throughput. There is no excuse unless cable is damaged at wich point you would see no connection. nothing you change your side will improve that 100%

So @TalkTalk are adamant they can’t cancel the £50 charge or collect their box not sure any court in this land would agree with them but quite prepared to argue the case when this pandemic is over
