@TalkTalk get your act together and get your customer service sorted. 5 days trying to pay a final bill after I have left and now can't access any services to do so! Much more fun charging folk extra charges and screwing their credit score than actually assisting them!

@martyajackson @virginmedia This seems to have been a UK wide issue, lots of talk of Vodafone, Sky, BT, EE and TalkTalk all having issues. All back up now though. Virgin shouldn’t have been affected but who knows at what box the issue lay

@murphyslawyer Things have improved. The current "free" hardware from TalkTalk does claim to avert the default channel problem, but it's not been around for long. Has it had a firmware upgrade? I know my router/modem has had several. Most don't. Out of the box it has active WPS.
