I'm staggered that it has taken 50 hours for it to be made official. How will we be notified when service is restored?

We do not have Talk talk services because for some reason you could not provide them at our address. We have See The Light who did provide them. You are crooks. Ofcom even say you are worst ISP. Calls on 10/07, 14/07 and again today to cancel service. On my third person (so far) on today’s call. Send help and chocolate before I lose the will to live.

The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

They've confirmed that the fault is with open talk, but no one has been out yet. He's been left with no internet for almost a week in a countryside village!

Angus (@Angus_02) reported@TalkTalk awful service. My 89 & 91yo grandparents (one with Parkinson’s) tried to upgrade their internet & are now left with no working phone line. The engineer admitted he wasn't "very familiar with phones." Now told it's 3 working days just to get a case manager. 👏
