Twitter help me out... The telephone pole outside my house has been hit by a falling tree.. The council @WelHatCouncil say to ring BT @bt_uk say I need to ring my phone supplier @TalkTalk ask me a thousand questions about the broadband and the phone line.. THE POLE IS DAMAGED

@RSdriver00 @TalkTalk That is very poor. Never been with them, but heard a few tales. Best way is to find new provider and they will migrate across. When I left Virgin I went back to BT 6 years ago now, was the best decision, but varies a lot depending on post code. Good luck!

. @TalkTalk deactivated my grandparents phone, they’re 80+ & living with Dementia, no other form of communication. Spoke to 4 people who ‘cant help because of procedures” Disgraceful you’re happy to leave them at risk, you better hope they don’t need to call emergency services!
